If we're gonna be realistic here, Skyrim is going to win game of the decade awards in 2020. It arrived at the start of the decade and is still being played at the end of it. That's insane. It changed RPG's forever, had a huge impact on culture, and will undoubtedly be released on next gen. As much as I'm sick of it and think its too mainstreamed for my taste, you have to respect its staying power and the fact that its sold almost 40 million copies.
