back then you were joining someone's personal server and it was up to them to determine the moderation

now you have match makers built into the games to find people opponents and teammates
when people abuse that they stop having access to that match maker

anyone who was banned can still do everything in the game except use the find match button to use the match maker

they can go in custom games, custom lobbies, play with friends in private lobbies, trade their items and everything
