Looks bad, the devs are just taking a giant dump on Contra while trying to "modernize" a series that has repeatedly refused to be modernized and where all the best games stick to its roots. If I want to play Contra I'll just play Blazing Chrome or Super Cyborg, at least the devs of those gave a shit. If I want to play a twin stick I'll avoid this moba inspired shit entirely and just play Nex Machina.

Awful Contra reboot but pretty fun top down shooter. Probably bound to fail, will pick it up on pc when it goes on super clearance.
