i nearly ragequit this game because i was playing it wrong (didn't have ANY characters that knew restoration) so i died in pretty much every fight
now that i've actually figured out that healers are necessary the game is REALLY fun, why am i not hearing many people talk about it?

I would play the game more often if any of the characters were likable. The only one that isn't insufferably and cringe inducingly arrogant is the chick with the fucking headmate. Social Justice Writers are a fucking plague.

Fane is cool, though.

chill out and glass yourself

I was having a lot of fun until I left prison island. Shortly after that I just kinda lost interest

You're years late.
Lol. yeah same dude why aren't there character preaching the benefits of national socialism XD

Can I play this game as an OC donut steel instead of one of the premades and not lose out on a lot of shit?

yes

The same reason why places that aren't Yea Forums don't have daily dude sex threads.

This game was huge on Yea Forums when it came out newfriend. That having been said, holy shit why would you try to play any RPG without a designated healer on your team?

I had no idea that the game didn't have a designated healer party member automatically, like every character I recruited all had attack skills but no-one had restoration.

Having a healer is always necessary in every RPG ever created. How could you mess that up so badly?

You literally dont need a healer if you know what you're doing.

Rent free

>I didn't have any characters with healing
Why the FUCK would you do this? Literally in what team-based RPG would you EVER do this?

You dont need a healer in this game, but the water magics are fun as fuck and damage oriented so you could easily just run a self healing build

It's my first CRPG!

Yeah they're pretty cool so far, i've made Lohse invest in Hydrosophist and Necromancy

Sebille is based

>It's my first CRPG!
Nigga have you played literally any RPG? Like Skyrim or anything? You always take healing skills. This is no different.

The ending chapter is very frustrating. Both in gameplay and story. I loved the game too; preached about it in every RPG thread. Now I'll probably never play it again.

>not having your necromancer pc bone Fane
Terrible taste user

Surprisingly the Red Price turned out to be the best companion for me. Lose had a satisfying end to her story, but a shit epilogue. Ifan turned out to be a whinny bitch and beast is basically a cardboard cutout.

>not liking based Sebille and Red Prince
I might be biased but I played as Sebille and romanced Red Prince, but still

I just beat adramashamalamadingdong last night, am I getting close to the end? I'm almost level 20

Oc donut actually has the best source power

>Skyrim
>RPG
>healing in Skyrim
have (you) played literally any rpg?

Skyrim is an RPG, it's just a shit one. Not taking Restoration is stupid.

Is it better to play with custom character or one of the origins first time?

Is there any mod that fixes the retarded scaling at higher levels? I hated having to replace every character's gear every level after 14 because the new scaled items for that level are exponentially better.

If you play this game right you should rarely, if ever, have to heal.

This game is all about nuking the shit out of the enemy armor and crowd control or outright kill them.

Give ME Lohse wife!

I didn't like the personal history lore dumps you get when "playing as" an established character.

The ending is a let down for original characters but you miss out on story if you play as a origin character. For instance if you pick the Red Prince you will likely be role-playing him wrong and not know basic stuff, like why he was given to Fort Joy or what his life/motivation was actually like.

>reach final of the game at lv20
>traders still gives the fucking worst gear for my party members
>strength based armor with no melee bonus but everything in magic
>absolutely no fucking finesse based gear which one of my char still use lvl15-17 gear for the bonus attributes
>intelligence based gear is pointless for the godawful physical/magical armor ratio

how the fuck do i force traders to reset their shit without a level up?

Biggest issue with the game was how enemies had magic and physical overshields. That meant your melee guys and casters couldn't attack the same person without going through both overshields. It just makes it frusterating to fight. Going all caster works great, but makes the game boring real quick.

Lose looks like she's in her 40s-50s in that pic. Her voice sounds a lot younger.
