When it was revealed in FFX that Tidus never time travelled, he came from a well hidden "museum" which was created by a hyper-advanced society and is is basically just a simulation, not a real person.
FFX is underrated as fuck. I think Yuna/Tidus are annoying just as the next guy but being totally objective FF7-9 don't even come close in storytelling. FF10 consistently sent shivers down my spine and left me in awe for example when Seymour says that Spira is death. What a great fucking game.
