I honestly expect it to be a fairy self contained sort of game that you wouldn't necessarily need to play LC to be able to follow to the end, and returning characters and such are moreso references/callbacks to it than actually following up on much. I'd even expect Abormalities to not return at all so LC can keep them and be its own thing, while LoR can try entirely different stuff and be its own separate thing. Granted, they can still exist on one timeline and continue an ongoing "background plot" via Angela and whoever or whatever else they plan on factoring into things, but in terms of what's relevant to Roland, I doubt Lobotomy Corp and the events that happened from it will ever be brought up or be important to him.

I'm sure this kind of direction would disappoint a lot of LC fans, but I think it'd probably be for the best in long term for both games. I kind of want to see this turn into a "series" of games where everything is just completely different from each other and the devs try not to let past games and connections inhibit them much so they can just do whatever they want with each game they make for this universe and see each one to the fullest potential they can on their own individual merits.

Small community on the board with relatively little art (there’s a lot to go around from Asian sites/social media but nowhere near the level of, say, Persona) = OC is far more likely to be noticed, appreciated, and reposted than that made for a large professionally made game that has a huge fan base with several threads at a time, each of them different forms of bait or image dumping grounds. Same principle applied/applies to Secret Lab and Risk of Rain, but possibly even to a greater degree because there are so many abnormalities and potential employee appearances

I imagine it could be like Supergiant Games, ranging from Bastion to Pyre, where each game is it's own genre

I think it would be better if the agent is turned into a child version of themselves with the same restriction, lasting until they successfully complete work on another ZAYIN abno.

While they are children they gain "Innocent and pure", and are unable to be damaged at all by abnos but all stats are set to 1, pretty much making them useless but completely protected.

If you got an agent with 100+ fortitude, it's effortless to grind out the Ice Queen on multiple agents. NT's gift only for agents you're going to glue to CENSORED, or Mimicry.

Thanks user, though I don't feel very Korean since I cheesed so hard. Hired an ungodly amount of trash to fill in the gaps in my beloved skeleton crew to help clear meltdowns. The Rabbits actually decided to do their job instead of fucking off as soon as she walked into the extraction regen room and managed to shred her down 2 and a half phases because of that, so while it was a nailbiting final 3 minutes as I tried to bait her into regen rooms to keep my guys from getting WHIRRRRED it's extremely satisfying even if I feel scummy as hell and was left with 4 survivors out of 40. Time to see if I can squeeze in those last 3 Records expansions before gauntlet time or if I gotta Day 1.
