I complained about that too, although most of my issues were due to the awful pacing, cringeworthy dialogue, and complete lack of focus in the second season. I genuinely don’t understand why the big fight scene, set to Bloody Tears, was against some nameless uninteresting mooks and in a normal ass foyer. It would have cost them nothing to put them against classic Castlevania monsters with interesting architecture around. The whole vampire politics subplot was incredibly stupid too. Much as I love Curse of Darkness, setting it up took too much time. The list goes on.
