nope, the days are very long, kinda had trouble when more than 1 enemy shows up, lose a lot of health, wish there was a mechanic where the enemys don't charge at you when you're aiming a gun at them, that would be cool

Bachelor is not the main story. If anything, Haruspex is the main story since he's an insider to the town
Bachelor is suggested as the first route because he's an outsider, just like the player is initially, and has a slightly easier story

But if you want a quick trick: You can turn around while getting turned around by thugs

they turn me around while I'm 2 meters away, they got insane reach, maybe their arms prolong while I'm not looking

They can in fact only turn you around when right next to you. Do you stop sprinting before gaining considerable ground on them? But if they're spinning you around from that distance, keeping the sprint key held down while moving the mouse to spin you 180 degrees again, away from the bad guy, should keep you from getting punched or stabbed
