all races in FFXIV are garbage, from an aesthetic level to their lore and backstory. I've taken shits with more creative effort than the races of that MMO.

I gotta agree. Even the Vieras are pretty lackluster
They should have gone with more actual Final Fantasy races or at least adaptations of them.
Ivalice moogles, Yukes from Crystal Chronicles, Nu Mou, Banga, anything other than the typcial "human, pointy ear human, big human, small human, cat ear human" would have been batter.
I get technical limitations with gear but c'mon this is Final Fantasy we're talking about.

You always seem to get shit for playing as a cat boy, I just like how it fits my main jobs decently well (PLD, MCH and MNK).
And yes I'm a fat pice of shit, but in my defense I was an actual Chad when I created the character back in 2014

Mechanics get thrown at you one after the other for 16-18 minutes straight and there's too much coordination required for a pug group to handle. Pugs can't even be consistent on e4s. I've only done UWU but there's multiple ways of doing each mechanics and the way you resolve mechanics early on in the fight changes what happens in the other half of the fight
