>put yourself on invisible so people think that you are outside
Put yourself on invisible so people think that you are outside
a more permanent solution is to just not have friends on steam
>tfw been invisible for the last 4 years
this, why would you ever add someone you don't know on steam?
>not putting yourself on offline so you don't have to see other people playing games
>stay online constantly but never play anything
>mfw stalking someone through the groups they're in and see that their online hiding
Stop being a pussy, user!
I just put my profile on private and status on invisible. I cut myself off from irl ((friends))
It's been a year and I'm f-fine.
>always make sure im set to online so freinds know im ready to play games
>havent played with friends in 3 years
WTF are you one of my "friends" mocking me by describing me exactly or is this my paranoia
I will never know
>micspam quality music in different games without being annoying
>I'm great at a few games and people start adding me
>they never play with me or even write me
why adding me in the first place
How do I try the new Steam UI?
>put steam on invisible just because, no real reason
>all friends from real life are online and playing most of the day
>all of them play shitty multiplayer games that i will never play even if they pay me to do it
Why is so hard to find good friends that like the things that you like?
Go to Steam settings and choose to participate in the beta
Thanks senpai
Not using battlemetrics and alt steam accounts to stalk and quietly play with friends who don't want to play with you but are happy to when they think you're a stranger then friending them and having to juggle them on multiple fronts and going as far as to friend yourself and tag team them in group chats.
Get on my level.
>Play what you want to play
>Meet people playing the same stuff
Wow, so hard.
>steam 10 years ago
>get so many friend requests that it's almost fucking annoying
>steam today
>have to virtually suck a person's balls for them to send a friend request
I don't think I've changed that much, why are steam users so anti-social these days?
>go online
>"hey what's up"
leave me alone
It's hard to met people online when you play almost only single palyer games.
I just what to paly coop, i dont care for real multiplayer games, they are not my thing.
>1:21 PM: launch a game
>1:28 PM: quit
>6:40 PM: launch a game
>6:52 PM: quit
It's like in the real world.
there are small town with just 500 people and they almost know all eachother and they talk alot
then there are big cities with hundreds thousands people and there people dont even know the name of the family that live in the apartment under them
Same thning appened to Steam.
>wagie friend logs in multiple times per day alternating between online and alway, most likely due to the Steam app
Why would you ever add someone you do know?
so you can play steam games with them?
Talking to people was fun a few years ago. Now talking to people just sucks. Don't know what changed. Maybe I'm more depressed than I realize.
Social network appen, now every single person think that they are the most important person in the world and that fucked up he entire society.
the world is doomed, user.
Social media and politics really changed people for the worst.
>Yfw you realize steam threads are still bannable and a janny has already submitted this thread for review
Can't talk about shit here anymore except console war shit
aren't console wars banned as "blatant fanboy threads"?
Who could have guess that giving every single person in the world a voice to speak to all the 7 bilions people at the same time was a shit idea?
I mena, it's not like most of the people are dumb as fuck, illiterate and with a close mind, right?
>always invisible
>dont wanna remove friends cause we got history
>havent talked to any of them in 5 years
>a few of them have been offline for 600+ days
Doesn't matter, those still reach bump limit
it usually works if you report them
Speaking of steam, would anyone like to play Monster Hunter World with a noob?
lol I used to do this when I was a teenager on MSN/IRC/AIM etc. when I LARPed as a chad with my anime forum buds. I'd usually be playing console games or watching TV waiting until I felt it was late enough to come on during Friday Night without being a loser.
If only that shit wasn't a shitfest of optimization, i would have been in, but playing at 2fps is a nightmare and i dropped the game, waiting to upgrade my rig.
Fake it til you make it, right user?
>tfw on permanent lockdown mode
Profile is completely private, always invisible. Just want to use this shit as a library, not a social media platform.
What other games do you have?
...
On PC? the game that i still play are basically all single paleyrs
Im fucking with Control and Darksiders 3 this month.
