starforce seemed more anime like so i wanted to try it out first to see but i might do a little bit of battle network and see how i like it. Lan is one of my fave MC's I loved watching his show after school everyday

in terms of yveltal, this game came first and i terms of metal garurumon i'd say gregar looks more like a zoid than him.

Blue is objectively better than White. And I'm not even talking about Folderbak, regular chip drops also came in better codes and Ground Style is only relevant because of SetHoly

pokemon gen 6 and onwards is soulless garbage and digimon has always been shit
worked on by kojima, the guy who did the art for MGS and Zone of the enders, and the guy who wrote a bunch of the metal gear games it has a cool setting
First game has a greater emphasis on stealth and your shit can get fucked up if you get spotted. Also has puzzles and boss battles.
Second game still has stealth but has a greater emphasis on combat, still has stealth puzzles and battles but way more options. My personal favorite
Third game throws away stealth pretty much and is pure combat and minor puzzles, has a cool new transformation, less weapon types, good story with the previous two games, multiple endings
the DS reboot is pure combat, not a fan of the shitty bosses/mechs desu

I wouldn't try to beat Boktai quickly, its a game best savored. Setting is really rich in 1+2, 3 is kinda where it started to falter but 1+2 are the bomb. Regardless there's nice story and music, good art and gameplay, cool MGS-lite stealth and solar gimmicks throughout. Lots of neat details like beefing up Otenko with solar gun shooting, Tonniar.rM, fruit growing, werewolf ending and so on.

Even after a decade I'm still pissed at how BN6 was butchered by the localization.

Removed all Boktai content, which involved them removing an entire area of the game. Also I'm not sure about this but I think the Japanese version resets the alert music after beating the game but the american version doesn't.

I don't know because I never played any multiplayer mode in the BN games

wasn't the lock on only on using chips? from what i remember falzars regular buster was the 3 shot spread and gregars was the rapid fire one.

It is just for chips but I play mainly using non-elemental chips like vulcan, vulcan, vulcan and vulcan with some atack+ and some sword ships

i assume the ground being broken fucks with gregars ability to use the lock on but i can't say i ever tested it.

That's because it is. 4 and 5 handled virus tiers in such a way you need to beat the game to have access to to tier 2 and 3 chips. I don't know about 5, but EXviruses occasionally dropped chips of the next tier in 4, maybe you could grind up a bit for that or just git gud at them Chaos Unisons

Protoman and Gregar. I always wanted to play as Protoman.exe and the werewolf thing was really cool. Werebird wasn't as cool and kernel was a literal who.
The final deciding factor was the other Navis. Meddy was better than toadboy and Heatman is the best in the series.
