Is it hard to build your own pc? I found the site that tells me what I need and whether it’s all compatible and whatnot. I’ve selected all of the parts but I’m reluctant to buy it in fear that it will arrive and I won’t know how to build it. Thoughts?

Pay your local computer store to do it if you're scared, just don't pay for the OS install. That's literally putting in a USB stick and holding down a key.
No, the messy part would probably be hooking up the front panel but if you know how to read you won't have problems.
It's adult legos. Assuming you aren't doing any custom loops or some shit
The primary problem is getting parts that are actually compatible with each other.Ie, your motherboard and your CPU.
What would that cost? And which computer stores do it?
Just do it yourself user, you might be a bit nervous at the start but once you do it, it'll be cheaper than having someone assemble it and you'll feel great after doing it yourself and you press that power button for the first time and you see your BIOS splash screen
Call the Geek Squad, kid. Let the big boys handle it.
Op here. What if I just buy this prebuilt?
It's not hard at all as long as you pay attention and don't neglect critical details like mentions.
First time though, yeah, definitely watch a video to see it done, then have a checklist or guide or something in front of you the whole time. It'll help keep you ordered, but it'll also let you do it with a bit more confidence as you work.
Here's what you do user.
Plug all of those parts into PCPartpicker and findout what the cost of the parts are, versus what they're charging to essentially put it together.
You'll always get a better deal if you do it yourself
Dude, it's easy. I was intimidated at first too believing dumb shit, but once I had all the parts and began assembling my rig I realized that it were all a meme.
It's so easy even the normalfags can do it, just watch some videos of pc builds to get an idea and you'll be fine user
Use a compatibility check to ensure it all goes together, then everything just goes into its spot
Would the website tell me if they weren’t compatible? It says everything is compatible
As long as you do your research, it is easy.
Just lurk /g/ and play with pcpartpicker.
Use PCPartpicker and logicalincrements.com
Assemble parts, enjoy your satisfaction of doing something yourself and saving money
It's about as hard as putting together a potato head man.
Ask your local computer stores. I don't fucking know.
Also be aware of your case dimensions.
I got a big fat case, and it's a good thing I did, because, without really meaning to, I also got a big fat GPU which just barely fits.
A child would be able to do it by just reading the manuals provided with your motherboard and chassis.
You could also look up guides on YouTube to feel extra safe.
It isn't hard. When I did it the only issues I ran into were two things I ordered were DOA.
Who is this and why hasn't the thread become about her tits?
It's easy bro. Just follow the instruction.

>Only two front USB ports
Yikes.
The computer store I asked when I was building mine said 200
Fuck that
No, watch one video on it and you'll be fine. First time might take an hour tops.
Bump
No coffee isn't good for you, what kind of stupid question is that?
IM COOOOOOOMINGGGG BROS
FUUUUUCCKKK IM COOOOMING UGH SEXY GIRLS ON V!!!!
yes, building is pc is autism. just get your favorite console
The only bitch is if something doesnt work. How are you going to figure out a doa motherboard vs psu vs memory.
This has easily got to be one of the most forced memes I have ever seen. Do trannies really have nothing better to do than parrot each other for a false sense of validation?
No. PC building is legos for adults. Just use a website like PC part picker or something and start putting stuff together and see what you like and can afford.
ATI procressors are less terrifying to install than Intel's
the rest is based on your knowledge of zipties and scissors and if you picked a decent case to hold everything
The hardest part is decide wich part, to make it the most future proof possible, and not get fucked with dead end stuff.
Assemble the stuff is actually pretty easy if you follow some simple youtube guides or even what the manual says about the mobo.
The only real challenge on the assembly is the CPU thermal paste because of the discussion about wich way to put it is the best, and the results may do a 5°C change wich is nothing unless you really fuck it up.
