I RECOGNIZE THAT ASSHOLE
Camden Russell
died yesterday to this boss. killed the other guy he was with and got it down to 1 hp. i wasnt even mad because i suck at this game

FASTER
Xavier Turner
needs a buff honestly
luckshitting into donu/deca second makes a20 so much easier since all you need to do is prepare for heart and the visible boss instead
Robert Powell
Nothing personnel, kid.
Aaron Jenkins
Adam Campbell
Yeah, I definitely die to these the least on a20. I don't think there's ever been a time where I dreaded seeing them. Don't even mind Time Eater that much.
Awakened one can eat a dick though.
William Murphy
so what's the consensus on the new character so far
Zachary Butler
I started this the other day and beat chapter 3 with the ironclad dude a few times pretty easily, but I'm not sure what I should be doing with the silent chick.

Landon Adams
fairly shit with a few broken cards
they did just kneecap meditate though which hurts a lot
t. top 10 winstreak with her currently
Jason Bell
Bruh you gotta kill the donut first, he's the one that buffs them.
Anthony Lee
good to know but im talking more in general because i probably only got that far off sheer luck
Jayden Reed
her only scaling damage is poison unless you get an early shuriken
so do that
also footwork is one of the best cards in the game so also do that
Bentley Gomez
Silent has two major archetypes, poison and shivs. For poison you want to cycle quickly through a few sources of poison, hopefully bouncing flask, and find and upgrade a Catalyst ASAP (hopefully with a Burst for maximum effectiveness. Since most poison appliers are Skills, Burst is great in general). Having a Toxic Fume and stacking defense (especially Blur + Leg Sweep) also works. Defense in general is vital to poison builds.
For shivs you'll want as many shit that stacks with card use (After Image, Thousand Cuts, relics like Kunai, Shuriken and Ornamental Fan, etc.) as possible. Accuracy and Wrist Blade are also instant-picks. Having draw and defense options (so Backflip) is also great, Burst can also help generate insane amounts of shivs (and a little extra defense). Having a single copy of Finisher is also super useful. Don't fall for the Envenom and Choke memes, they take too long and are too costly respectively to ever become useful most of the time.
Easton Rogers
winstreak in what though
I'm at a18 on my climb and I think she's the most broken character right now
Julian Sanchez
just the default leaderboard, a20 streaking isnt relevant until her cards get solidified
and shes kinda broken because her busted shit is all commons/uncommons so theyre easy to hit; like half the time my decks dont even take rares because of how weird and negative momentum most of them are
but if you miss she just fucking explodes spectacularly
specifically i think once they get rid of adaptation shes gonna feel significantly worse
especially if they end up culling/nerfing the calm shifters in the process
she has like no other value, no structure, just a lot of do-nothing setup shit
her only wincon at that point is gonna be godmode turtling + sands of time or something like that
Caleb Cook
>beaten the base game with defect and silent multiple times
>can't fucking finish it with that ironclad shitstain
I know he's supposed to be the easiest but i'm either the unluckyest draw on the planet or i dunno. Motherfucker i hate him so much. I can't even get his goddamn shields up by the time i manage a deck with something i either have no cards or no energy
Asher Morgan
youre not taking pommel strikes or shrugs are you
Alexander Watson
Pommel yes, whenever it pops up which is almost never. I also try to keep as many 0 cost cards as possible. I'm getting the feeling he massively depends on the relics. With both defect and silent i could turtle up and dot shit to death, defend myself and heal at the same time. With ironclad It's one or the other.
Also i like demon form but it costs a fuckload and its usefull in longer fight which are extremely dangerous on ironclad. I'm thinking i should try demon form with shields to stall, does that make sense?
Luke Sanchez
yeah thats ideally how you do a demon form deck, a lot of shrug it off with some weaken from clothesline/uppercut/shockwave and 1-2 str scaling attacks like heavy blade or sword boomerang
his other easy wincons are barricade + entrench + body slam and headbutt + limit break + (draw effect)
also the thing about 0 costs is that their value is usually proportional to the energy they cost
past the first floor, drawing more than a single 0 cost card per hand is generally bad because you could be drawing better value cards when at most 0 costs are usually like equivalent to a strike/defend which are obviously not great cards
theyre good early, but you usually dont want a lot of them
rule of thumb that relates to that 0 cost idea: you almost always want to prioritize bonus energy from the first boss, having 4 energy makes the game so much more manageable even with the drawbacks they carry
and make sure youre removing your basic strikes when you get the option, the other cards you pick up are almost universally better and you want to draw them more often
