>buy a toy
>put it on a shelf forever
what is the appeal?

I've become oddly fascinated with collecting old guides.

>all that dust
jesus
I buy up old guides for games I have whenever I see them cheap enough, honestly
they're always neat

pop? part of the problem lmao

I have quite a few. Most of the games I finished before the guide but they have cool artwork and sometimes you run across "huh i've never tried that" info.

They're almost pseudo art books. Looking at promo art is always fun.

I used to just have a few guides, pretty much just for RE games and GTA3/VC
never actually got around to using the 3/VC one outside of looking for some coke in 3

Some vidya figmas:
>MGS2 Snake
>P4 and P5 protags
>Skyward Sword Link
>Samus

As well as the DS2 collectors edition Faraan Knight statue, and the guy from FF14 Stormblood collectors edition, forgot his name.

Oh and the Meta Knight amiibo

I bought a figure of my waifu recently, but it hasn't arrived yet.

I own a Funko. I can't bring myself to get rid of it.

Return it to the flames

I'm afraid I might've become attached to it. I haven't even removed it from its box.

The closest to buyfaggotry I ever got was that sexy-ass Other M Samus Power Suit from years ago.

Then I looked at the pricetag and laughed at the concept of buying a plastic doll that does nothing but depreciate in value rather than an actual game or 4.

Give it a soulful Viking funeral.

If you bought it and not remove it from the box, you'll profit $40 excluding shipping fees if you sell it today.

maybe. Or maybe I'll look it in the eyes and be afraid to burn it for fear of it enacting its revenge.

I'm an adult, so no.
