They literally have no idea what the fuck they're doing. Look at the character designs, they're the worst in the entire series and killing Roland was a mistake. I don't think they really knew what to do with Lilith, but yeah the crunch is real. Everyone was basically working like dogs during development and I think the game suffered at least.
