Swap out Tremere for Gangrel and you would literally have a list of the five least interesting clans in VTM. Definitely the latter. They've revealed two factions out of five and one of them is already an OC donut steel. I'm concerned that the other three will be made up for the purposes of the game as well and we won't get any Sabbat representation at all.

You get power by getting older than everybody around you. How you do that is up to you. Killing some guy who is out to murder you also won't make you lose humanity. Giving up your humanity is also a slippery slope, since once you have reached the point where you see humans as a different species and lose all empathy for them you likely won't stop hunting them, until either the beast takes over, hunters catch on to you or a more powerfull vampire decides that you are to unstable to be left alive.
The hunters are also a much bigger threat in current lore. At least the US and maybe some other 1st world countries know about the vampires and have started to support the SoL and destroyed the primary headquater of clan Tremere, throwing the pyramid into chaos.

My only problem is that it's kind of unfinished. Santa Monica and Downtown have like 20 side quests each, while Hollywood has around 10 and Chinatown only has 5 or 6 IIRC. There are some good side quests there though. The two assassins one was funny and the Yuki mission was cool.
