the absolute state of Steam

>box art layout

I love it.
Fuck you.

i can see this being cool if you can customize your cover art

>customizing art for my 3000+ games

fuck off

It's almost like you actually own the games

actually looks cool, just needs the actual box art. hopefully devs will make some

>Age of Decadence last on 3rd row

Good taste. Game looks like ass but it's fun.

Relax, dumb baby. I'm sure someone will make an app just for that.

who held the gun to your head and made you buy so many? i'm worried about you, buddy.

what's wrong with horizontal covers? I actually liked those, it was different from the rest, now Steam will look exactly like Epic, Origin, Uplay, etc. Probably even worse considering many games will never get the updated covers.

I am honestly kind of pissed
I can't believe these guys that probably pull six figure salaries and spent the last 3 years on this can come up with this unoptimized garbage
it freezes for a second on some operations
inb4 you have too many games
they should have take into account that users usually have more than 1K games
90% of my friendlist hit the 3K games mark, and some have 4 or 5K
this shit is pathetic

steam/settings/library there you can turn off some of those shitty effects and whatever

When is this going live?

>Switch library to grid view
>Notice a bunch of games that I'm pretty sure I've never even heard of, let alone remember buying.

...Anyone know if this Bladed Fury thing is any good?

i-its just a beta

>users usually have more than 1K games
>tfw I've had my account for nearly ten years and I only have around 250
You guys sure do pick up a lot of shit.

>shared games and mine are all on the same list
It's there any way to sort them separately by account name like before?

You can, same way you could with the old grid view.

Get used to it son. Ugly design is the new trend.

lol knowing steam they'll have people vote on a boxart and have the top voted one be the default, instead of the ugly banner-turned-box thing in the OP

it is a by-product of the bundle golden era from 2013 to 2016, and the gleam.io shit games that were gifted every single week back in the day
now keysites also make the list grow very easy and cheap

I have already done that. Thanks for the tip, mate
In my opinion the issue all the social shit they have put on the games, and all those animations that you can't disable
I hope they realize many people don't need all that shit

how would you feel having this in the background as you play a game in windowed mode? compared with the last one
