It's a pain in the ass downloading and installing sims and hunting around for mods, why would you do this to yourself? If you just want an animation viewer there are a thousand other options without the hassle.

This is actually a pretty good comparison. 3 is for context and gameplay, 4 is watching animations.

As far as I'm concerned there's no real reason to have lewd mods with 4 and thus no real reason to play it. It's a glorified animation viewer and if I'm just watching animations there are far better options for that.

Starlight Shores gives me the least problems in my experience. Moonlight Falls is also good though. You can try some fixed worlds mods on top of that.

This, though I haven't personally had problems with them, I've heard they're awful for most people. The worlds that really give me problems are Sunset Valley sadly enough, and Lucky Palms. Sunset will slowly accumulate problems until it becomes annoying to play and Lucky Palms straight up crashes too often.

That's because optimizing TS3 and setting up everything to PERFECTION is more satisfying then actually playing it, i do the same thing anually myself, and before TS3 was a thing i did it with TS2 and the original.

Don't just play the lacking life simulator. You need an idea of some ridiculous character and/or story to enact.

Depends on the specs. The most important components are an SSD and likely the CPU. The better the SSD the faster the game will load. If you only have an HDD it will take ages once you start adding expansions and mods. You shouldn't need a higher end GPU unless you wanted to crank the resolution up as high as possible. The game can't use much ram being 32bit, but 8gbs is ideal.
