Nothing. He hated the Lesbian agenda.
he was in any Walking Dead season after the first one
Imagine ACTUALLY picking to save Jane, then seeing her commit suicide, Kenny's been through more shit than her and he never an hero'ed.
Didn't wear a seatbelt.
The only thing that could stop him was a girl learning to drive. Typical.
>Do everything he approves of
>Except one single thing
>He now hates you for all of eternity
Why wouldn't you help him squash a man's head open that might not be dead? What are you some kinda asshole????
he didn't take a crowbar to jane's face as soon as he could
he called Clem an aquatic bird.
He did nothing wrong, Telltales shitty writing constantly just kept shitting on him despite him just wanting to be happy. First his whole boat plan was retarded to begin with and then is entire family dies, he makes stupid choices sure but what would have anyone else in his position do? He then in a redemption move to save Ben (if you choose to save him) and is presumably dead. Then they introduce him back in season 2 and everybody and their dog suddenly shits on him through the entire season 2, and he then again though the power of lazy writing loses another part of his family. The man has been through enough already just let him find happiness but then Jane decides to pull the most autistic move anyone could never predicted to prove a point nobody asked for and got herself killed and the writers dare to paint her as a victim? Holy shit
he died
Yeah why didn't you just wait in case he wasn't turning into a 6foot 200 pound muscle zombie?
>People actually risked Clementines safety over some archaic sense of fairness or justice
He was always a better option than the self centered bitch
if you don't help him with larry he doesn't help lee when he's attacked, that's pretty shit. the lily/larry thing concludes better if you side with kenny overall - when kenny freezes it's bullshit, when lily refuses to help you during the fight it's totally understandable you just murdered her dad in her eyes.
kenny is my favourite character in the series btw
>i don't care if their make a wish was a fucking boat ride
>smiles from the heaves when you reject the dyke
There was a bug in S1 that made him hate you when you went 4/5 decisions in his favor. At 3 and 5/5 he's your bro. Leave it to TTG to never fix it.
MUH FAMILY LEE, WHAT ABOUT MUH FAMILY
I think specifically the problem was that the threshold for success was meant to be 0-2 major disagreements. So at three or more he wouldn't come with you. Instead it was coded as 0 AND 2, so people with 1 disagreement got fucked. I'm still unsure if that's the exact explanation but it seems like it's been tested and that's the case.
>tfw there are players that made him shoot his own kid after finding his wife dead
It was nice to see Janefags get definitively blown out at the season 3 intro.
what the actual fuck were they thinking with her? she's an insane cunt. i still can't understand why anyone would choose jane, especially given what she pulled at the end
i liked jane until the AJ thing. even if he's safe -
- she pulls the knife on kenny
- she doesn't tell him as soon as it's clear he's gonna kill her that AJ's fine and then run for the fucking hills
she is fucking crazy
if AJ didn't cry they would never have looked for him and he would be dead. absolute screw loose that bitch.
>literally no zombie in the established universe will spring up like some epinephrine junkie and attack
>kenny can just as well just stand at the ready with a block of salt
>but no, he has to be a fag
>then when his autismo son is CLERALY bitten he starts talking about "no it's ok, maybe my son is different"
He is the worst type of person to have with you in any sort of survival scenario.
If you were trapped in a skyscraper on fire he wouldn't throw a blanket on your fiery friends because "what if that just causes the fire to spread to where WE'RE standing".
He's an absolute fuckup, I would've killed him, duck and katja the minute he fucked up at the farm and got Hershel's son killed.
Yeah, I liked Kenny a lot as a character, but there were times he was ready to drop you and leave you for dead the second that he didn't think you were always behind his decisions.
dumb janefag
I would survive with that bitch, that's for sure.
Too bad she's a fucking retard who can't keep her legs together.
Appeared in bad games.
Every character has some sort of problem. That's why it's well-written, none are objectively better than the others but the strengths and weaknesses of each character make different types of people side with and against them.
Didn't get his boat.
Didn't stop to think ONCE.
When he roasted Clem in the tent
what a fucking dumb post
>thew characters act like human beings so they are are equal
fucking idiot. objectively lee is better than lily because he is kind to a little girl in his last moments of life, whereas lily is trying to murder children with her last breath. what a non argument you wishy washy fucker.
Who's more unlikeable, Ben or Arvo?
bonnie. even though i liked her since she is a completely believable fuck up.
Arvo. Ben was a naive fuck-up, but most of it came from being dense and cowardly, not actively malicious. Arvo went out of his way to shoot a little girl in cold blood.
You're entitled to being a moralfag, it only proves me right in the end.
I had him do it. It wasn't Lee's responsibility, and it felt like the sort of thing that Kenny would definitely regret not being able to do himself.
True monsters are the ones who make him kill Duck AND the attic kid too.
it doesn't prove anything except you're trying to act like an emotionless reptile without human feeling.
like this cunt
S1 > Cut S2 > S2 >>> S3 >>>>>> S4
The obvious choice is Arvo. Ben fucks up, but he always tries his best. Arvo is a cunt who fucks you over with little reason.
>sure, i made him kill his son next to his wife's dead body, but not that stranger kid in the attic i'm not heartless
Season 2 was going to have some really dark themes. Wished they would've gone all in with that vision.
>little reason
>can steal all his shit
>gets taken hostage and beaten by your leader after you kill his people
fuck arvo but come on
S3 would've been better if they had kept Clem out of the story entirely.
lol
I have zero sympathy for that piece of shit. I didn't steal from him, and yet that slimeball comes and tries to rob our people of everything when we have a baby, not to mention holding us at gunpoint. Then he has the nerve to act like we're the bad guys, AND EVERYONE EXCEPT KENNY SIDES WITH THIS FUCKING PUNK WHO JUST TRIED TO ROB US FOR NO REASON. Fuck everything about Arvo.
Press S to spit on Tell-Tales corpse
I don't think season 2's problem was that it wasn't dark enough. I thought it was that it made most of the group total idiots to make Clementine look more competent by comparison, and that it unceremoniously killed everyone I vaguely liked before I even had a chance to really get attached to anyone.
Season 2, Episode 2 was the height of that Season. They had so much to work with, and they kinda punted it with Episodes 4 and 5. The Jane/Kenny dilemma seemed to come out of nowhere to me. Would've made more sense if they had Luke/Kenny be the big confrontation.
>but he always tries his best
Why does this always come from spineless cucks.
His actions led to EVERYONE getting killed.
Fuck Kenny.
Fuck Ben.
Fuck Arvo.
Fuck everyone in the spick family.
And fuck you cucks for defending degeneracy and weakness.
They should release a patch or something that either lets you kill Kenny the first fucking second you see him, or at least let you go with Lily.
>being a little pussy
He's his father. He owes it to his son to be the one to stop his suffering, not letting his friend do it for him. Plus considering the nature of the world at that point, Kenny needed that sort of closure in case he ever found himself in a situation like that again.
S
>His actions led to EVERYONE getting killed.
You really think the bandits wouldn't have tried to take over that motel sooner or later? Also, keep shit in perspective. The dude was a kid still who just lost everyone close to him. He's gonna make mistakes. Doesn't make him a bad guy, especially compared to the stage red assholes you meet in later seasons.
When you think about it, he was right to be skeptical of Lee, especially with a kid around. He knew Lee was a murderer before the apocalypse went down.
he owes it to his son to keep him alive and he couldn't. he doesn't deserve to live with putting the final nail in his child's coffin you heartless little bitch.
>He knew Lee was a murderer before the apocalypse went down.
And he got what was coming to him.
It all started in shackles for him, it all ended back in shackles.
>Better to Sleep
He just didn't like the blacks around his daughter
>we never got to see more of the most interesting character in the whole damn series
>he knew Lee was a murderer before the apocalypse went down
Oh, boo fucking hoo. Who gives a shit about what people did before the apocalypse? It's the total collapse of society that really shows people's true character, and there was plenty of time for him to see that Lee was a good guy at heart.
>bandits wouldn't have tried to take over that motel sooner or later?
How does that matter?
He gives them supplies and the SECOND one little package is missing they are ready for blood. Show any sign of weakness, sooner or later it's kill or be killed.
Ben was weak, he was not ready to kill, and consequently got everyone killed.
Fuck Ben.
Theres being skeptical then theres being an unbearable cunt
>literally no zombie in the established universe will spring up like some epinephrine junkie and attack
Except for one that literally did just that IN that episode you fucking inattentive retard
You're the definition of "my wife's son". Take some responsibility for your family, you fucking pussy
you don't even know what responsibility is.
Reminder that Carver's set up would've actually been optimal for survival.
Did you guys cut Lee's arm off?
yeah
way too fucking late but yeah.
Shame that 400 Days didn't play more of a role in season 2 in general.
I really liked the idea of getting a backstory introduction to all the characters that would eventually come together to form the new group.
I didn't steal from him, I tried to be nice and that snow nigger still shot me without hesitation. Fuck him
They had a nice location and greenhouse setup, but Carver was a friggin lunatic.
Tell me which one instead of being a fucking faggot.
And this better not be "this one reacted fast so therefor".
If he truly is 200 lbs, whatever the fuck that is in aryan, then he STILL wouldn't fly up like someone just read from the Book of Dead.
Too bad he's a psycho.
>zombies mean all sins are forgiven
Arvo.
Ben tried to do the right thing.
I did. I knew it wasn't going to save him, but I thought it would buy him some more time to find Clementine
If total societal collapse doesn't bring out people's true character, what will?
The only psychotic thing he did was when he pushed the guy off the roof for being an unredeemable fuckup.
No, because that's absolutely retarded in every conceivable way.
Posting the best characters.
The one Katja was trying to doctor up, Ben's teacher. He died, revived and suddenly attacked her all within the same conversation you had with her
Carver's system would've succeeded if everyone did their job. All that matters in the apocalypse is having a strong system and the discipline to carry it out.
Reminder that shit writing prevented you from joining Carver.
"No but he's truly evil, nothing is grey only black and white exists, and if you play that way then I'm offended"
Also: Michael Madsen.
Also 2: "Atta girl, she ain't afraid to look it in the eye.", "... it's what makes you stronger than the rest of them".
Baste.
Well, that and obsessively hunting Rebecca down to the point of murdering people in cold blood
Yep, Carver was better than the gang of retards from the cabin.
He captured me and my nigger Kenny from a pretty cushy ski lodge, that alone was enough for me to tell that fag to fuck off
Kenny should have died in Season 1, prove me wrong
kenny never died, he left the kids at wellington and rose from the ashes to forge a new life.
I did it the first time, I feel like it'd be too strange if Lee did it, if Lee was a lifelong friend I could understand that. Second time around I made Lee do it.
Jane should have abandoned that baby. Kenny is a cuck for wanting to raise that nigglet in a zombie outbreak.
Fair enough, but where in this calculation will someone be surprised? It still takes time to turn if he JUST died.
And again with the 200 non-whites argument, please explain.
AND since he technically wasn't turned either way, explain HOW it isn't murder because of muh "what if".
>Kenny giving you his hat at wellington
>"I'm real glad to have met you, Clementine..."
I hope you nerd stayed at wellington for Kenny, he had everything go wrong in his life and lost almost everything, all he was focused on was his family, which included clem and AJ.
Who would you have chosen to kill?
>if Lee was a lifelong friend I could understand that
why? is it something unspoken that a lifelong friend can shoot your kid with more emotional ease than a newer friend?
you all seem to miss the point that this isn't an a moment of emotional clarity and resonance, it's about getting it over with and moving on as quickly and respectfully as possible so many kenny doesn't kill himself like katya does.
>he was in any Walking Dead season after the first one
wait, he was?
i didn't do it for kenny i did it for the kids. but clem did it as a final thank you and goodbye for kenny's sake. if that makes sense.
That's a really tough decision, but I would stay with Kenny.
>kenny
>no rational thoughts
>complete fucking hypocrite
>turns on you immediately if you disagree with him once
>extremely temperamental and violent
>can't protect his kid or woman
>nigger
Couldn't have used a better word myself.
I don't think I ever argued it was or wasn't murder, I was simply saying there was a precedent in the episode to justify Kenny's paranoia, it wasn't just something he decided on out of the blue.
Kenny. Because character wise if that had been the actual showdown Kenny would have been the unreasonable one and the player would have saved him out of familial loyalty. Luke was level headed and brave the entire game.
>implying he didn't deserve it for trying to murder Lee
>implying CPR would save a middle aged man with a history of heart problems who has just suffered a heart attack and lost consciousness
Your cool uncle or your big brother is a pretty difficult choice.
That's fair.
Still: Fuck Kenny.
>No one mentions that they don't have Larry's heart pills, so even if they revive him with CPR he could die again
> Disagree with him once.
>Lee, you're a piece of shit, fuck you.
Kenny is a giant hypocrite.
I stayed with Kenny because Clementine is as stubborn as a damn mule
Why the fuck did Luke have to die, seriously. He was so smart and level-headed. He knew that if Clem or anyone tried to walk over and help him, they would both fall in
>Clem, go help him!
NO CLEM, DO NOT.
>b-but you're light hurrr durrr
CLEM, LOOK AT ME, SHOOT THE WALKERS AND GIVE ME A LITTLE TIME
That's all Clementine had to do, and all Bonnie had to do was FUCK OFF and Luke would've been saved. God, what a shitty death for a good man. I like Kenny too, but Luke's death was just so unfair.
Nigger, what do you think the pic is from? He never lost an eye in season 1.
That is what the CPR is for.
You're pumping blood through his body as same as if he was just unconscious (which he is) but with a working heart. As long as Lee continues he wont die.
But I guess the most rational choice is to kill Lily's dad in front of her by splattering his head all over the freezer floor and her, thus getting Dough/Carly killed later when she snaps and in combination of Ben being a fucking retard he also loses his kid and wife.
Bravo Kenny, bravo.
If Kenny was going to kill himself he'd have done it regardless of whether he killed Duck or Lee did. In the world of TWD, tragedy can happen on the turn of a dime and you may end up having to put people out of their misery, even your loved ones. Lee wasn't always gonna be there, Kenny needed to get that closure.
Not to mention, that whole fuckin situation could've been avoided if they just walked AROUND the frozen lake. Like, no shit, right? 5 years later, and it still pisses me off.
It was Randy Tudor
You should be glad. He was mildly racist once which means modern telltale would fucking ruin him
Objectively wrong
>S1 >>>> S4 >>>> S2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> S3
In the civil war museum they even mention how clem is growing up when she struggles to get into that storage room with the water. WITH BONNIE WITH HER.
Luke din du nuffin.
Fuck Jane
Fuck Bonnie
Fuck Arvo
>YOU HAVE TO KILL HIM. KILL HIM NOW. HES GONNA TURN, DESPITE THERE BEING NO PROOF HE WAS BITTE .
>N-no Lee, you can't kill my son, I know he was bitten, but it's totally different now. Trust me, it's fine, please he's totally okay.
Burn in hell you retard.
>Why the fuck did Luke have to die
>implying
Katya and Kenny were going to do it together but Katya killed herself because she couldn't, so now she's gone and it's Kenny alone to kill Duck. He was totally lost so Lee stepped up. It was just Lee doing Kenny a human kindness, that's what friendship is for.
I am just talking out of my ass here but in that situation, isn't the most CPR can do is just keep the person alive until an ambulance arrives/they get to a hospital? Also, she kills Doug or Carley regardless because choices make little difference in this game (I still liked it, though).
Reminder that since the Definitive Edition came out with its commentary tracks we finally have official confirmation that the original climax of season 2 was Kenny vs Luke but it was scrapped at the last minute for no reason so Luke was hastily killed off and they tried to force Jane into the role intead
>father irrational over his child's inevitable death should burn in hell
if we're ever in the apocalypse you swerve right away from me mate
I think you're right.
CPR is used to stabilize someone, not cure them, i'm not a doctor so I have no idea how long or even if it works for a heart condition.
Damn, that sucks. Luke may have been a pedophile, but he was an infinitely better person than Kenny.
I definitely felt that was what it was leading up to, considering Kenny was the returning favorite and Luke was definitely the best new character of Season 2, and that lots of the early choices involved siding with either Kenny or Luke.
Wait, isn't jane in her mid 20s?
Yeah, how weird that he had zero issues killing a woman's father.
Burn in hell, retard.
>2019, I am forgotten...
Ah, hello Ben 2.0
i expected that shit since you had to decide who's table you were going to sit at in the lodge and i'm half glad it didn't happen because i didn't want to kill based fucking kenny
larry tried to throw duck into the street to die when they first met. fucking right he doesn't mind cinder blocking that fat fuck the man was trying to kill his kid.
Fucking based
Didn't kill Jane asap.
>As long as Lee continues he wont die.
>keep the person alive until an ambulance arrives/they get to a hospital?
Yeah, that's my point.
As soon as Lee stops he MIGHT die, but we'll never know, Kenny murdered him.
>she kills Doug or Carley regardless because choices make little difference
Again, Kenny made the choice, it was never an option for you. What HE did, let to people dying.
Kenny apologists are fucking retarded.
Kill yourself. Kenny is an awful, selfish, and delirious retard who will instantly turn on you the minute you disagree with him.
Is this the best track in the game?
Pedophile??
Memes aside he was a dead man walking if it was anything beyond a heart flutter, and considering he dropped like a sack of bricks it was something clearly lethal
yes, this one too
Nick was way more interesting than Luke could ever dream to be. It's a shame he got killed off before his arc could have been completed.
>Taking that risk with your daughterfu in the room
>Giving a fuck when the same old fat cunt tried to kill you in episode 1, and Kenny regardless of his feelings about you came back for you
If you didn't smash that faggots head in, then stab that loser with the pitchfork and kill the other brother after beating the fuck out of him, you're a beta bitch. When everyone is trying to leave the drugstore, that asshole stops you and hits you hard enough to leave you dazed, and leaves you there to be torn to shreds by zombies, all in front of Clementine.
It's an old /ttg/ meme
Ahem: FUCK WALKERS
Imagine being so dense you couldn't immediately pick up on the fact that Luke wanted to fuck Clem.
>DESPITE THERE BEING NO PROOF HE WAS BITTEN
Not defending Kenny here, but like established in other comments, this is the episode where they find out that even if you die by natty, you still turn.
Fuck Kenny.
>he's irrational about his kid he should burn in hell
>you forgive his humanity so you should kill yourself
eat shit i apologise for nothing.
Everything
VIOLETCHADS RISE UP
>"GET BACK HERE AND FINISH THIS LEE"
>Walks off and camera pans to the walkers breaking down the fence
K I N O
Who, Hittler?
Too handsome
Holy shit I never played season 3 she actually does I just checked what a bitch lol
>His zombie mom is approaching him from the house
They already established at the start of that same episode if the brain was intact you become a zombies regardless of how you die, since the other person who comes back with Ben bleeds to death with a gunshot wound or a missing foot and still becomes a zombie regardless. Kenny outright mentions that in that moment as to why they NEED to do it. Also it was established Larry is strong as fuck, and even if Kenny was at the ready Lily could easily get bitten while performing CPR. He was trying to protect everyone in the room.
>Can't understand why a guy who thinks family is everything goes into denial when his own flesh and blood gets infected
Was it autism?
Getting shot in the head by me
>"lesbian"
>she literally fucks a dude just 'cause when they should be on the lookout for walkers
If Jane was a dyke she would have objectively been a better person.
People forget Ben was the one who told them that any kind of death leads to zombification. The group could have been seriously fucked over had they not known that.
>It's okay when Kenny acts like a hypocrite and a retard.
How do you breathe with Kenny's cock lodged so deeply in your throat?
Fair enough, Kenny shouldn't have killed Larry. You can't really blame him for Lilly going apeshit and shooting someone in the face for talking back to her, though
this
I can't
Ben did literally nothing wrong.
Kenny, as usual, was just being a gigantic fucking asshole.
How retarded do you have to be to not understand why someone will act entirely different in a situation where it's their family in danger, and not someone else's?
>Lily kills somebody and takes off
>everybody calms down on the train
>''....yeah it was me''
fucking ben man that kid had no chance in that world
Welcome to the thread.
Anything more you like to repeat and get debunked?
Maybe you can join the guys talking about fucking Clementine?
who's more fucking useless tho?
But it's totally fine for him to instantly murder someone else's family.
Drink bleach.
>STILL can't understand why someone acts hypocritical when the situation is reversed
Yep, it's autism alright.
run of the mill stupidity.
i think she was actually autistic though.
you drink bleach you nasty fuck.
>Kenny STILL triggers redditors this hard
Lmao go eat glass trannies.
That's exactly why I like Ben more than other people seem to. He could've just kept it to himself and everything would've been fine for him, but he had too much of a conscience and too much honesty not to say something. He saw how his actions indirectly lead to the deaths of others, and that shows a lot about the type of person he was.
>insists on telling Kenny about his family at the literal worst possible time
Ben was such a fucking idiot. Even for a kid he was just straight up dumb.
>already established
We know.
>they NEED to do it
>even if
>could easily
These are the analytical arguments of someone who knows they fucked up.
>Can't understand why a guy who thinks family is everything goes into denial
YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!
The fucking state of spineless cucks, I swear.
Was it faggotry?
>literally sells everyone out to bandits
>nothing wrong
make sure you let me know you need a bullet in the head if we're together when the apoc happens
being literally autistic doesn't make her less worthless.
Arvo easily. Ben was a fuck up but he was at least trying to help, just too brainlet to think shit through. Arvo was a fucking nigger who tried to rob you no matter what and blames you when his sister or whatever gets killed due to this. I hated how much the game tried to push me "Kenny's becoming unstable you guys!" because he didn't trust the cripple everyone was whiteknighting for.
>i think she was actually autistic though.
She's definitely developmentally stunted. I was sure she was going to kill herself in Carver's greenhouse when she was just staring at those gardening shears
based
Kenny is unstable, and Kenny is a selfish prick.
it showed how young he was.
yeah that was inexcusable.
>being literally autistic doesn't make her less worthless.
true. but i didn't expect shit from her whereas ben could have pulled it together.
No, that's Lily going crazy... because someone murdered her dad with a salt block.
he committed the original sin; he was born a white male
>Kenny is unstable
yep
>and Kenny is a selfish prick
nope
This thread just is showing me that the super anti kenny fags might be legit autistic. It's one thing to not like a character, it's another when you can't even follow why a character logically doa illogical actions in a story
>make sure you let me know you need a bullet in the head
Fuck me, that's funny.
Also: Fuck Ben.
>starts dealing with the bandits to save his own skin
>Because nobody knows about this the motel gets attacked, so they lose their home and Kenny's kid gets bit
>Because he refused to admit the truth, Doug/Carley gets killed because of him
>Because he causes Duck to get bit, this makes Kenny's wife commit suicide, potentially in front of him
>Kenny either has to mercy kill or watch Lee mercy kill his child because of this
>Abandons Clementine to be devoured on the street, forcing based hobo man to save her and get separated and killed for his troubles
>wtf why is Kenny such a meanie to him for causing so many people to get killed as a result of his actions
This is the person who tells you Kenny actually did something wrong. I left out the cancer bitch because fuck her, that was a good thing in my books.
i think it just hurt their feelings that kenny didn't help them out in ep 2 when they helped lily instead of him and it spiralled ever since.
Using family as an excuse for why someone acts irrational is retarded because he literally murders someone elses family with zero regret or hesitation.
Stupid faggot.
yes, I saw the show and went "WOWIE I get to use metaknowledge to save my favorite character."
Well...
So let's say the zombie apocalypse happened right now. What would be the first thing you would do?
At least the first time you see Slavshit he points a gun at Clem making it clear he's a shitty asshole. Ben pretended he was useful until he sold everyone to bandits. Ben is the reason basically everyone after Larry dies in season 1. Including Lee.
was she actually autistic or was it because her dad was too much of a brainlet to think he'd somehow always be around to protect her and she didn't need to know how to survive?
Cancer bitch?
The one who becomes a zombie later?
>unironically calling others a spineless cuck while defending a guy who tried to fucking murder you
Sure is reddit in here.
Kill Kenny.
because he cares about his own family and not about a stranger's family. his feelings are for his own family, feelings are what makes people irrational. i think that guy's right you are on the spectrum.
she was away with the faeries and didn't really pick things up, it was more than her being just overprotected.
Be in a Telltale game.
That doesn't make you empathetic or pitiable, that makes you a shitty person.
fascist virgin social outcast spotted
I'm convinced their the fags who talked about that e celeb group two best friends play. I recall seeing they played the games, and spent 80% of their time SEETHING about Kenny, and their fanbase blindly going along with it. I recall someone linking the bit where Arvo (who they trusted and defended from Kenny iirc) shoots Clementine and one of them outright claims that Telltale had him shoot her to "artificially make Kenny right" or something to that affect.
I was really disappointed with what they did with Sarah in the end. She was vulnerable, but she was one of the few characters who actively stands up for Clementine and tries to help her when they just met while also wanting to learn how to be stronger. Then they give you the choice to save her just to have her die a few minutes later.
no it doesn't that's just life. in a survivalist world where you have to take stock of your priorities on a constant basis, it's literally life or death.
>he's a shitty unsympathetic person for putting the people he loves ahead of the people he doesn't, and you should kill yourself if you disagree
you sound like a maniac.
Don't forget that he jeopardizes the entire group by picking the absolute worst time to tell Kenny the truth. Like you couldn't wait until AFTER the whole "zombies bursting through the door" thing had been dealt with??
Yeah, I threatened those fucks since who gives a shit if they're old, don't stick a gun in my face and she didn't want to talk to me there. Threatening them is great just for seeing Lee go full alpha.
I think it was both. She's got something wrong with her for sure, she's definitely not on board with reality like even every other kid we see is. Like, Duck, for example, clearly understood the world had become shitty.
Carlos clearly coddled her way too much though, possibly because he didn't think she'd understand.
>Telltale finally makes a good determinant character
>you have to go full retard to see it
Fuck, I forgot about that. Plus even if you do save him he contributes nothing. Even if it's just you and him, he still won't cut your arm off if you choose that option, he pussies out and then faints while watching Lee slowly and agonizingly do it himself. Kenny doesn't do it if Christa is there, but he still at least mans up and does it if theres nobody else there unlike Ben.
>picking the option where you let Kenny beat the living man shit out of Arvo
Satisfying, too bad he never died on screen
> Has no character growth throughout the entire season, although granted, I can say the same for a lot of the S2 characters
> Has the thickest plot armor, being able to somehow disappear at the end of A House Divided and sneak into Howe's without anyone noticing, not to mention the lack of specifics about both of those things
> Makes Clementine, a wounded girl at the time, go with him to fight the walkers on the bridge when there were much better candidates, like Carlos and Alvin
> Doesn't even try to help Jane rescue Sarah from the rubble, despite him hating Carver, a man who was heavily implied to do things like that, you know, because he's "evil"
> Nick, Luke's "best friend" for his whole life dies and it doesn't affect him in the long run. He only talks about it like twice, and those scenes don't affect Luke's story moving forward
> Luke, knowing full well that Rebecca's baby could come at any moment, decides to fuck around with Jane, and doesn't get any consequence for it.
> Is overall a poorly written gary-stu
Season 2's writing is god awful, but despite all of that why is Luke the fan favorite? All of the other characters suck as well, but at least they had potential with their arcs, like Nick, Carlos, Sarah, and Walter. Luke had none of that, he was just this generic character who was portrayed as this perfect human being, to the point where he gets no consequence for his actions, and even has Clem tell her life story to him, despite Luke having just dropped her onto the ground, yelling at her for thinking she was bitten, and locking her in a shed for what was obviously a dog bite probably not even 5 hours ago.
All in all Luke sucks and S1/S4 are the only good seasons
>Even if it's just you and him, he still won't cut your arm off if you choose that option, he pussies out and then faints while watching Lee slowly and agonizingly do it himself
Haha, I had the whole group come with me so I didn't know that. God damn it, Ben
a lot about season 2 was disappointing.
Also when you play through both endings it becomes crystal fucking clear that Jane is a sociopath supreme, but they go out of their way to try to make Kenny look crazy.
>Even if it's just you and him, he still won't cut your arm off if you choose that option, he pussies out and then faints while watching Lee slowly and agonizingly do it himself.
lmao yep that's ben.
who the fuck saves Ben, though
Still better written than Javi in Season 3.
i do. it's more about lee than ben.
>agree with his idea to use Clementine as bait
>He still grabs your nephew to force Clem to cooperate
God that shit and the shit with Gabe and Tripp was awful.
>Kill Conrad
>Tell Tripp he went nuts and I was forced to kill him
>Fuck... alright, well thanks for telling me man
>Gabe brings up me killing Conrad like it's some big revelation later
>WHAT THE FUCK JAVI YOU KILLED CONRAD WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME
The worst part is I'm pretty sure it wasn't a glitch or something like how with Kenny you could have him refuse to join you despite siding with him all but one time, I think the devs just outright forgot you could tell Tripp about it prior. It's not like Gabe says anything even remotely incriminating that contradicts what you tell Tripp, he just says you killed him.
I saved Ben. I truly believed he was remorseful and that he wanted to redeem himself.
But then he just kept fucking up.
Everything about Season 3 is easily the worst part about the entire franchise though to be fair
>it's more about lee than ben.
This. Lee wouldn't have let the kid die if there was a chance to save him, even though he was a fuckup
left Lee to die because you disagreed with him. fuck that guy, felt so satisfying shooting him
Could it be more obvious that they didn't have a plan beyond Season 1?
I'm pretty sure none of the options let you tell Tripp the full truth of what Conrad did down in the train, which would've made everything easier in the future. Javi was fully justified in killing Conrad. You don't hold a gun to an innocent kid's head to get what you want, especially when their Uncle is right there.
Definitely
I did in a second run to do the exact opposite of what I did before.
He was trying to commit suicide via Lee, fuck that, if you're gonna kill yourself go walk off into the sunset alone, don't involve others in it you stupid twat.
>rebuff the girl and side with my brother the entire time
>he still kicks the shit out of me for it
fuck that game man
This. He wanted to have his little hero-sacrifice moment but I pulled his ass up. He didn't deserve it AT ALL
The brother ended up being a worse version of Kenny. God I hated the wife though.
>constantly tries to get on my dick
>not gonna fuck my dead bros seconds, since he's likely alive and even if he wasn't I wouldn't do that anyway
>Bro is actually alive
>Still trying to hop on my dick
>Tell her to begone since I have even more reason to not fuck her
>She slaps me for this
>Decides to bring up her wanting to ride my dick in front of the brother, who's struggling to keep it together
>But says it in a ambiguous enough way that he could take it as that I did actually fuck her
>"N-Nooooo stop fighting over me silly boys even though I started the entire fight!"
Speaking of the fight, did you fight back at all or what? I let him get the first hit but as soon as I saw him pick up a wrench I said fuck that and fought back, fuck the dead dad.
Being an overprotective paranoid fucker!
>being this fucking wrong
No argument spotted.
Good luck with being shit at life.
>"That was all Kate. I could've done something, but I didn't. I love you, brother.
>"REEEE I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU"
Great writing, Telltale.
i let him wail on me because i wanted to see what would make him stop if it wasn't me. i'm literally not fighting back and just telling him i love him and he goes and picks up a weapon to beat me harder with. i found it hilarious.
>can't stop sucking the cock of a raging lunatic
>n-no u the cuck
Iirc you simply tell him Conrad went crazy and you were forced to kill him, nothing more. While with Gabe later he just says you killed Conrad, leaving out the fact you did so to protect him because he's a little cunt. Regardless, he doesn't really say anything about why you killed him, just that you did, which you had likely already informed Tripp about.
>Game unironically pushes for you to forgive her
>Tell her to go fuck herself
Also never played season 4, what was the reasoning Clementine went on the road again instead of coming back to the settlement?
looking for AJ
season 4 is good it's worth playing since you played the first 3. it's got a nice ending.
He didn't let the Walker hanging from the bell simply pull him down
If you let it run out the rope just breaks and he falls and dies, but doesn't get his whole "you don't have time, leave me behind" shit.
>can't come up with a argument besides "n-no u"
"What do you have to say for yourself....brother?"
Didn't fuck Clem's tight little body.
Yeah, but she finds AJ then. I'm asking if they ever give a explanation as to why she didn't go back to Richmond(?) or whatever it was called because I'm pretty sure they outright say to her she can come back if she wants.
Jet fuel can't melt steel beams
LIQUIDDDDDDD
bretty accurate. It's pretty sad, too, because Clem is a good player character. They just shit the bed on everything following Lee's death other than 'AND NOW YOU PLAY AS CLEM'
GUNGA GINGA
no it's never explained. but some shit happens in between 3 and 4 that is never really delved into deeply and i assume clem just wanted them to stay far away from people in general.
>yuricucks
>Chad's of anything
>picking between a edgy dyke "b-but she has a heart of gold" trope or "le wacky so randumb" mutt
>Not keeping your daughterfu pure
Disgusting faggot.
>attempts to say "I love you" with broken jaw from the wrench you repeatedly hit me with
For real. Are we supposed to entertain the possibility that Clem would fall in love with two people she just met like, what, a few weeks ago?
CPR can "cure" people in cases of drowing
You bastard.
He's the reason Larry dies as well, given they only knew the risk he would turn thanks to Ben.
literally zero sfm porn of Minerva what the fuck
Also we never got to kill this fuck
Does no one understand that cpr is only for manueling circulating blood through someone's body because their ticker stopped doing it? The only way that cocksucker would have survived is with a defibulator. Hard to come by where they were at.
Larry was a faggot who tried to kill me so who cares
Well, the Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell
The bad guy from the Michonne miniseries was based as fuck and /ourguy/.
Yeah, in fact Larry might have caused a bunch of deaths if he had been allowed to continue living so Ben should be given some credit for that too.
No...YOU DON'T GET TO SAY THAT
Is this series any good after Season 2 by the way? I did kind of give up on it after Season 2 kind of went to shit towards the end.
Seconding this question but adding that Season 2 was shit from the start
Not only that, but the gang actually fucking sided with this asshole who led us to a fucking trap and got mad at Kenny for being suspicious
Not really. Just watch someone play through it on YouTube.
everything about the lake pissed me off. fucking retard writers
Sure, but in the moment the game was making me decide between attempting to help save the life of a guy who had done absolutely nothing but antagonize me and make shit difficult, or ensuring the safety of Clementine.
4 is a good ending to the series. it's worth playing. i don't think you miss anything by skipping season 3, it's centred around a new community who don't show up in 4 and clem has a cameo more or less. but it's alright i guess. i wouldn't play it again.
Existing in a Tellfail "game"
4 is okay and actually has some proper gameplay in it instead of qtes. 3 has is both shit and largely inconsequential, showing a flashback to what happened to Jane/Kenny or just showing a bit of Clem on the road with the kid and she lost the kid and is looking for it, finds out where he is at the end and goes to get him. 4 also has two really shitty romance options for Clem, see
Aren't telltale back from the dead now?
Seeing her get ripped to shreds was oddly satisfying.
Like pottery.
Why did Telltale only have 2 good games?
Pic related and WD 1 are the good ones of course
No he wasn't going to kill himself
>Lee is right Kat, we can say our goodbye and just let that be it.
Even after all of the shit that happened the fucker was still ready to give a fight in this shitty world and for a time he was mad at Kat for giving up and leaving him alone.
Javi was good
I agree he's a born survivor he's not got it in him to stay down. it's why he's popular people love a fighter.
One tried to be helpful but failed miserably everytime and usually made shit worse, one didn't even try and just made shit worse.
I know what you mean. The little "Clementine...?" right as I decided to bail on her made it for me.
Mismanagement. Devs being spread thin on time and resources, and told to replicate the same unexpected success they had with Walking Dead over and over again with new IPs thrown at the wall in an attempt to see what would stick.
The higher-ups didn't even want to finish Tales from the Borderlands after it didn't meet sales expectations, but the dev team went into major crunch time to wrap it up because they were passionate about it.
What about Wolf among us? How the fuck did they make something good from bordermemes?
>How the fuck did they make something good from bordermemes?
Likable characters, something borderland never had before or since
he died
>literally pages of arguments in this entire thread
>thinks muh reddit is a counter to any of if
You gotta get that dopamine from somewhere right? Have your last (you) cümbrain.
>Name the one thing he did right
That wasn't the question.
I recall they were going to do a stranger things and bond game. Batman season 2 was surprisingly good.
Maybe you're arguments were just shit sweetums :^)
This and if I were in Kenny's shoes I'd have done it too. I'd rather kill my own kid than let him walk around as a soulless corpse. It's fucked up, it's hard as fuck and I hope I never have to get into that situation like pulling my kid's life support but it's better than the alternative.
>people saying s4 is good and shitting on s3
S3 was just as okayish as S2 and had some better moments.
S4 was totally needless and fucking atrocious. They should have just gone back to Richmond
>picking anyone over Kenny
kys
>twitter sperg is back to seethe about /ourguy/ again
Kenny. Luke was retarded enough to go fuck someone when he was suppose to be on watch, and Kenny rightfully chewed him out for that. Not sure why there was the sudden shift from building up Luke and Kenny only for them to suddenly be fine with each other and cracking jokes around the fire, and the character who was set up to be a loner who thinks groups are a bad idea to come back and then actively try to antagonize Kenny, breaking up the group.
You DID leave that chick to get eaten to buy more time in the drug store right? You didn't waste ammo and time needed to get meds on some literal who you don't know right?
i put her out of her misery because i would want somebody to do that for me, and if you disregard your humanity for an off chance at making something ever so slightly easier for yourself then you should jump into a river and end it because you might as well already be dead.
This.
What's the fucking point of living in a world without any real meaning beyond survival? Jane fucking lived her life like that. The climbing bitch from 1 lived her life like that. You just keep chugging until you fucking die, and when you die, it's over for good. I'm not saying to be a regular fucking martyr here but showing even a fucking shred of humanity is better than being one iota more like Jane.
>to save his own skin
The exact opposite actually, bandits told him that they had one of his friend and they were going to kill him if he didn't supply them.
Ben was a good person fucking up every time because he was really too young for this shit. Everyone seem to forget it because of his height but the guy was just 18, you can't really expect him to do as much as an full grown adult like Lee, Kenny, or Carley.
If there were to be a zombie apocalypse i think everyone of us would be just like Ben, scared shitlless and fucking up everything because of our lack of experience in life.
>everyone of us
i'm not 18 anymore and i would absolutely not have been like ben at 18 either.
>bargs red cream soda
what the fuck bros since when
>i would absolutely not have been like ben at 18 either
right
you're speaking with a lot of confidence to somebody you don't know.
>Ben confesses to Lee and says he wants to tell Kenny
>Lee tells him to wait for a better moment because they're neck-deep in a sensitive mission inside Crawford and tensions are already high
>Ben decides that the right moment is when things start to go south and zombies are breaking in, distracting Kenny at a critical moment
There's being a good person and fucking up and being a deliberate dumbass.
Don't need to, at 18 years old you're still a kid, your brain is still not fully developped same as your body, you can't be as strong mentally and physically as a full grown adult.
i said i wouldn't be like ben, i didn't say i was prepared for a zombie invasion.
That's just bad writing, it's not logic even for Ben.
Yeah sure you wouldn't be like him but you would probably be just as scared as him and fucking up a lot if you were 18.
No and I pity those who missed out the glass gripping
everybody was just as scared as ben that's not an argument. clem was as scared as ben and she rose to the occasion, ben just didn't. i pity the guy but fuck him he's not some everyman underdog he just couldn't handle it and wouldn't shut up and listen to the people who did.
Apparently if you do that, he actually passes out less and isn't as visibly sick, so it is likely the wound itself kills him rather than the bite.
I mean, he was definitely turning. But it's implied that chopping the arm off will buy him a little more time, and he seems a little more vigorous without it (despite how much blood he must have lost)
So the consensus for this series is unanimously 1>3>2>4 right Yea Forums?
>3 above anything
1>4>2>3 is correct
personally 1>2 (i'm a kenny lover)=4>>1 is overrated but it's still the best
why you'd think 3 is after that in quality is beyond me and i'd like an explanation.
Yeah, I was actually down with the season until that shit. At least you can pick him and the kid to live.
4 was literally the shittiest season in terms of writing and characters. E.g terminator minerva, Alvin "you told me to aim for the head" Jr, forced romance etc.
When you're a fucking 18 year old kid you don't deal well with fear as much as an 40 year old nigga would.
>clem was as scared as ben and she rose
Oh come on fortunately for her everyone treated for what she was, a fucking child. Lee gave her some easy fucking task that everyone could have done easily.
Ben's insane height growth fucked him up and everyone treated him like an adult because of this
Yeah I let him hit me a bit until it got serious
It definitely isn't as shitty as season 3, that's for sure
What's wrong with 3? More specifically, how is anything from 4 better than it?
nobody treated him like an adult except for lily that's why lee and carley/doug intervened during the interrogation, why carley/doug ended up dead and why lee didn't kick the shit out of him when he confessed it was all his fault the bandit situation escalated at the motel and ending up getting some of their group killed.
Reminder that minnie should have been executed for treason
Because 3 actually had some interesting characters, conflicts and the choices actually somewhat matter whereas in 2 you save a character in a scenario only for them to die seconds later. Plus the perspective of seeing clem as an outsider was a nice touch
i disagree with everything you said but fair enough.
It's fair to disagree with most of what i said but you can't seriously tell me you think the choices in 2 actually had more impact than 3.
i think it's about even to be honest. the choices that do matter are the ones that don't carry over to part 4 so it really makes no difference.
You're actually half right, I remembered some dialogue and they actually do but most of the time they gave him some pretty hard task for someone of his age.
If he had survived season 1 until season 2 he could have been a real asset to the group, he just needed time to grow, to adapt.
he was too self centred. i don't mean that in a conceited way. his need to get his guilt off his chest was greater than his ability to read a situation for how dangerous it was and that was too fundamental to his character, in my opinion. he never really stood a chance.
i'm actually really bitter that i couldn't save tenn unless i sacrificed somebody else. poor fucking kid.
>his need to get his guilt off his chest was greater than his ability to read a situation for how dangerous it was and that was too fundamental to his character
It was just lazy writing just to create some drama in a stressful situation
There is absulotely no logic in telling him now, Ben ins't this stupid.
>create some drama in a stressful situation
not really that would have been overkill. it was to set up a reason for players not to save ben in the belltower.
i don't see it as lazy i see it as what the player, as lee, is willing to do to survive. ben jeopardises the group's safety, this is who he is, is lee willing to keep him alive because he's just a scared young dude or is he willing to drop him and live with it for the good of the group?
Luke have to die becuase he would never do something retarded to fight Kenny unlike Jane and the season need a clímax
>YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!
What? Why? Lily's own response was completely justifiable when her father could have turned into a threat. Kenny's response was completely justifiable when his son could have turned into a threat. Larry reanimating right as someone starts giving him mouth-to-mouth would immediately mean two deaths instead of of.
*one
fuck me
He doesn't wear pants and that's weird
I can confirm this 100%
2 of my friends watched those retards and hate Kenny and can't be reasoned with
So I have a quick question, what made walking dead 1 so much better than every other telltale game? It’s not even close, walking dead was actually fun and emotionally engaging, literally everything after was trash by comparison. I don’t understand how they could fuck up so much
incorrect son
Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People was also boss
Tales of Monkey Island was okay.
The decent writers left and made firewatch
>Finally get around to playing the batman games
>They're 10/10
>Do everything for Johnny boy that I possibly can
>He gets mad at me in episode 4 and complains that I haven't had his back
Well done TT, I got completely triggered with Kenny flashbacks
Mike and bonnie just seem to forget that if Luke and Kenny hadn't been able to fight off the russians that they all would be dead BECAUSE OF ARVO.
Who the fuck on the writers team had it out for Kenny?
Trusted a nigger
Kenny. Because in this asine situation you choose to force me into im choosing Kenny.
Not that it matters, determinate = dead/gone forever.
Far after it matters but you are all fucking stupid. CPR has a vanishingly small chance of success without some kind of ACLS or Cardioversion therapy follow up.
>I'd rather kill my own kid than
stop there. no you wouldn't.
>Lee wasn't always gonna be there, Kenny needed to get that closure.
kenny just lost his family, you the player have the opportunity to take some of the burden and you don't do it because you think it's ''good'' for kenny? you're insane.
>This thread again
Nobody can ever justify why Kenny does the dumbest fucking thing ever at the end of season 2 because the writing is so fucking bad it pans out. Jane may as well not exist, it has nothing to do with her.
>hears of a legendary settlement that sounds too good to be true
>believes it after seeing what happens to settlements of people as one mistake has a huge chain reaction
>gives up access to supplies to go where there's a fucking blizzard with a baby in search of this legendary place
How fucking retarded are you, Kenny? How fucking retarded is Telltale for making it real? If Kenny really did care about the baby, he would have never, ever made the call he did because that call is bullshit and would have never panned out. Ever.
arvo's dudes took the supplies and jane lost it on him. i think at that point he's willing to grasp on to anything for the kids.
>lee
>nigger
youtube.com
yeah what a piece of shit Kenny is.
youtube.com
you watch or play this and tell me he's not a hero.
Jane wasn't a lesbian though, just really into survival. Prolly raised by some anti government hermit in a forest or something
I miss Kenny and Lee. walking dead wasn't the same without them
Keep that hair short.
Autism confirmed
