If you're using something like a DS4, I'd try the d-pad if I were you. I personally don't like analog movement for fighters

Vatista may lack her Fragments (wouldn't work in this game anyway, but that's mostly made up for with the Tag format of the game), so her focus is more on being a flexible sniper catching the opponent doing shit on their way in.
Vatista's gameplan is still sitting fullscreen and incessantly harassing the opponent from fullscreen with lasers and orbs. She doesn't do a lot of damage alone, but Vatista's beam shuts down most of the game's projectiles, she has a higher health level than most of the game's other zoners, and is still immune to counter hits.

friendly reminder that bbtag has, especially with the patches, moved further and further into the mvc style of "the character has a bunch of new or heavily altered moves and so plays nothing like the original game with a bunch of crazy new tools" so you should only want characters because of asthetic/waifu reasons instead of "I play them in this other game"

I'm genuinely baffled by the complete mishandling of merchandise for this franchise. It consistently tops the season in BD sales, but whoever got the merch rights after season 1 had a bunch of figures deserves to be fired. The sheer amount of action figures and games you could have pumped out would easily have doubled the franchise's revenue. Instead all they make are acrylic keychains, the occasional poster, reruns of cranegame plushes, and a dead phone game.
