Inventory Cargo Autism Simulator.
I genuinely love how far they're going with it. Here's a bunch of webms and screenshots I've taken.

Having the option to pick where to store everything. You could even chose to carry the exoskeleton by hand.
Arranging items on backplate.
all the player statistics.
Stop. You'll trigger Yea Forums. How the times have changed that now this board is doubting Kojima. Take me back.
The scanner showing the roughness of the terrain. Blue being safe, yellow and red more challenging terrain to get through.
Dreamcatchers and dolls that can be attached to backpack for added attributes/effects. The doll lowers the odds of timefall happening.
more cargo autism, english hud.
I love this hud so much
wait what? Is there Native American lore ties up in this game too?
more pornographic hud
This looks great. Is this from the new gameplay trailer? I haven't seen it because I'm trying to regulate hype until November.
The doll in particular is a Japanese thing. Quite eclectic in terms of shit this game is pulling from.
I really like HK's idea of wanting people to cooperate with each other. I like where it points. In a hypertechnologized global society, it's a interesting idea to make a high production project for people to help each other. From the little I've seen of the game, the first 10 or 15 minutes, what strikes me is how the game takes Rust's formula and inverts it, in the sense that, if you play Rust for a while and watch a couple of videos on youtube, the power dynamics generated can become shocking.

It is a game that offers an optional experience of dominion, control and exploitation of others, as they are all potential enemies. You can cheat, steal and even force your opponents hand in ways that only limit your imagination and moral compass. You have stories of deception, of people making other players kill their friends making traps and social engineering feats.
Death Stranding aims to suppress this human natural depredation behavior by having everyone playing technically as support. It's a very bold, risky and experimental idea for a Triple A. We are natives of a digital entertainment industry that has the act of killing as one of its fundamental pillars, and if murder it is our cup of tea, of course non-lethal cooperativeness video game will not permeate. And that's ok. Discarding the fact the demo has only one player and we are watching the thing instead of playing the game ourselves, nobody should be forced to play a game that don't resonates with him. Now there is a large open game space where we are forced to change perceptions and we need to look for new ways of thinking in order to meet objectives. I'm up for that.
Why does the menu look like a shameless ripoff of metal gear survive? When is konami sueing this plagiarism?
A game about cooperstion instead of killing. I understand why Kojima kept this under wraps for so long.
Most people view killing as fum, so if they announced the game as one based on pure cooperation, most people would tune out. I wish he'd kept all of this a secret until the game actually came out though. Seeing people realize that you can form roads and structures together to make other people's path through the game easier would be great.
The cargo will also get damaged by timefall, so you have to take cover from the rain in those instances. That's apparently something other players can help with, this gameplay demo showed sam taking cover under one at one point.
Pic related is damaged cargo from the timefall.
show me the MG: Survive hud.
I’m very curious about the old war realm and how much time you can or can’t spend there, it seems like a land to banish chaotic players
You have a spray you can use on damaged cargo, you can also spray your own with this.
Can you reorganize your cargo into a different arrangement by hand once you hit the road?
why isn't the timefall killing sam
Yikes, no shame. Get off this board you shill piece of shit.
I haven't played the game but i googled it.
Comparison of the japanese and english hud.
fuck this game might make me buy a ps4
for the love of god come out on pc or my wallet will suffer AAAAAAAAAAAAA
Because he's wearing suits that protect him, and when timefall starts, his hood automatically pops up which protects from contact with his skin.
So it looks like not just your traditional cargo can take damage, but also your weapons as well.
From the latest interview he did i became excited when he said the game wouldn't be too linear but i became worried when he said it's going to take a while to understand what's going on.
I'm not sherlock holmes, i don't want to search for clues and piece my game's story together. I know you Kojima you won't trick me.
how big is the map?
Is this an effort to fix the lack of explanation since E3? This game is going to tank, nobody knows what it is about and when people older than 10 look at it they all think it's a shitty japanese walking simulator. This game does not look fun nor is it immersive, what is the point of shilling it?
Impossible to know. Probably big.
What I wanna know is if there's multiple maps or just the one. Like is this mars like place really the same map as the icelandic looking one? I would assume so had the moon not been strongly suggested as a setting in the game.
I'm excited about the autism of it all, I'm not really shilling it.
I didn't think it look fun either, until I saw how seriously they're taking all these aspects of the game, it looks like it'll actually be an engaging survival-mailman-walking simulator.
When are they finally gonna upload the English gameplay? They were supposed to do it days ago.
You sound angry user and you’re saying unreasonable things
How do you determine who is a chaotic player when we arent able to actually kill eachother?
I don't think it's happening, user. What they were referring to were probably igns translation of it, I don't think KJP themselves will upload these on their channels in english.
That said, this version has subtitles for the entire thing.

Chiral Printer to print your own equipment
I think hiding what the game is even about for years and then the "just trust me guys" approach is a shady business model. Actually, it's unreasonable to give this drivel free publicity.
Can’t you destroy the things people have built? Or maybe if you use a lot community resources without contributing yourself
This game looks worse every time I see it.
This was good to see because after watching this I know not to waste my time with this.
we've seen him take off his cargo and put it back so i guess yes
Looks retarded. How will he move with all that shit?
Because death stranding was originally metal gear survive. It was his next project after mgsv but obviously not much work was completed so they took what they had and made a game out of it.
>sperm and eggs
Huh wonder what that shit does
Why are you pretending you dont kill things in this game?
>sperm and eggs
The fact that Sony are being so coy on outright saying it's only ever going to come out on PS4 makes me think it's for sure coming to PC but it's probably exclusive for a year.
>shake em together like Diet Coke and Mentos
>Create a grenade that explodes into hundreds of babies
That's probably just the translation team failing to get a Monty Python reference
Well from what I understand you're kind of rebuilding humanity
It's illegal to work on other games while you are on crunch time. Further proof Kojima robbed Konami.
Stunning and wrapping up people mechanically is like shooting them sure but it's in the lore that you better not kill people in death stranding's america. They're making a big deal out of how important it is that nobody dies.
>buy a PS4 Pro for this game
>play Spider-Man for a bit in the meantime
>console sounds like Apollo 11 lifting off
Jesus christ, I can't have this thing hooked up at my desk without going deaf.
So wait, Konami supposedly took ideas from Kojima for Metal Gear Survive, but somehow in your mind Kojima is the bad guy?
>154 pounds of equipment
do you even know how fucking heavy that is? especially stacked as shitty as that, you'd fucking ruin your back on your first day, if you could even move under that fucking weight distributed as shitty as it is.
i ruck for a fucking living and running with just 60 pounds on your back is tough. you'd be walking at absolute best.
Im afraid Kojima had the chance to make a game about loneliness and exploration but he will put his chuuni cringe shit in the game.
I think making an actual fucking hiking simulator like this seems to be is a wonderful idea desu. People always use walking simulator as a buzzword, now there might be a game that actually turns it into a functional gameplay loop.
people have been shitting on kojima since he made mgs4 a movie and shit out whatever the fuck mgsv was supposed to be, stop pretending to be from anywhere but reddit
>You can help other players deliver their cargo if they have lost it in the world
Exploring abandoned cities with monsters and ghosts everywhere, it's going to be like open world Metro.
>be a wagie in real life
>now you can be an amazon delivery wagie in VIDEO GAMES too
>WOAH YOU CAN EVEN MOVE THE PACKAGES AROUND ON HIS FUCKING BACK INCREDIBLE
holy shit!
It's not supposed to be "realistic"
It doesn't make a lot of sense does it? I mean who can even do a light jog for more than 50 meters with 70kgs on their back?
will the overworld be fuckhueg?
from what we've seen so far there'll be huge swats of land to traverse, but are they hubs or a proper open world?
Do we know what the baby pods are for yet?
If amazon would pay me to deliver packages by hiking berween cities, I would.
His backpack has some kind of suspension device on it
>kojimdrones shilling this game
>yet again
It depends on the game, some games are louder than others for example monster hunter was fine but since Iceborne it's been ventilating like crazy.
By the way it seems to go full airjet during downtimes like when you enter a menu to evacuate as much heat as possible as fast as possible.
I bought mine to play Nier Automata, why buy a console this late you're going to get trounced.
But MGSV is one of the best games ever made?
You're just mad it didn't continue the story of the MGS universe like you wanted to. Storyfags are the worst
So, Stalker?
exactly, so you can leave and let us shills discuss the game amongst ourselves.
I don't give a fuck about mgs I'm just telling you you're wrong in thinking people are "suddenly" shitting on Kojima when it's been years at this point
The demo took them 50 minutes to get from Capital Knot City to Port Knot City, even with timeskips.
>believes in the shilling conspiracies
>actively helps the threads out by bumping them
thanks, I guess?
That's the point. When he goes out carrying that much he looks like he's struggling to walk. With too much weight you'll run out of stamina quickly and if the weight's distributed poorly you'll be falling over and shit.
NOICE
I've been wanting a fuckhuge open world game with long travel times for a while.
>also your weapons as well
>also
>as well
choose one
Give me a fucking rundown on what the fuck is going on in the lore of this game.
>I've been wanting huge open world that is empty
Sounds like MGS V is a good choice for you.
MGSV isn't huge and you can get around the maps very quickly.
>it's not a walking simulator
yeah, suspension of disbelief
Yeah but that's a shooting game not a hiking game and the world is much smaller.
What I want is a game where you're on a very long journey, like lotr and you have to get to a destination despite challenges and enemies ect.
Death stranding looks like that game.
According to Kojimbo's TGS gameplay he only showed the boring parts to avoid spoiling it.
English one should use a different font, a less soft looking one, hard edges.
the not boring parts being cutscenes.
Is this a comment straight from reddit?
Something happened that caused the boundary between life and afterlife to break down. Some nasty things came true, one of which involves magical rain that ages things. Society as we know it has broken down and human civilization, at least in America, mostly exists in underground bunkers. The remnants of the US government has started an expedition across the country to establish a communication network to unite the country again. The president's daughter, who headed the expedition was captured by a seperatist terrorist group. The player is a courier tasked to retrace her way across the country, activate the communication network and connect as many people and settlements as possible to it and safe the president's daughter who's being held captive on the west coast where LA used to be.
>he only showed the boring parts to avoid spoiling it.
Seems like a terrible idea, it will flop.
If you've ever hiked then mountainous areas like these are pretty empty.
Usually you get two mountains on each side and in the middle of them a sort of valley with nothing but grass, dirt and a few rocks, you can walk all over it if you want but nobody does that.
You don't step foot on every inch of the places you go to.
Faggot
So do you start on the east coast and travel all the way to the west coast? Damn.
Thank you user, that honestly sounds pretty fucking cool.
That would actually be pretty fucking kino. You're wasting all this time trying to connect the world but the native Americans just take back their lands and thrive the whole time you're fucking around.
I want to play a game. If I wanted to hike I'd hike.
Yes. You start where DC used to be and you're going to where Los Angeles used to be.
Not everyone lives in the countryside. And there's no monsters or mysteries in real life.
Yeah but irl you can't get payed to deliver packages while hiking or have to hide from wierd dimensional monsters and terrorists.
If this game was literally just hiking it would be boring but it isn't.
Also if you don't have a suit Sam will get old and after some time die from old age
>sperm and eggs
I was in a "money burning holes in my pocket" situation. I can afford it.
Hes got an exoskeleton that allows him to carry much more weight than a normal person
Why doesn't he just use a vehicle, like a truck?
I wonder how do you get the materials to craft your own gear, we haven't seen any instances where Sam farms materials, maybe you steal them from Mule.
I don't give a flying fuck about Kojima drama I just want to see if the game will be more full and constructed than MGSV
There are trucks and motorcycles and hoverboards, but they can't go everywhere.
>we haven't seen any instances where Sam farms materials
There was a part where he picks up cryptobiotes in the wild, same as how harvesting works in MGSV.
>And there's no monsters in real life.
there are women though.
Just noticed the package Sam is holding in that pic has some sort protective layer against timefall.
You sound exactly like my mother. Why are you playing this game instead of starting your own farm ?
Get real, mom.
Based PilotRedSun, still waiting for a full game with his art style.
did you just use the n word in the filename son?
Shit, how did I miss this, you're right.
did you not play the first, second, third, and fourth MGS games?
its pretty fucking obvious what Kojima wanted to do 20+ years ago you mind numbing fucktard
why bother even trying to play it off as he's always been this "the one" sort of dev that can do no wrong?
dumbass
I'm from back when racism against blacks wasn't as prevalent and taken as a joke, now it has made a huge come back thanks to people taking it seriously instead of stripping it from its gravitas by making light of it, refusing to transform racism into something so ridiculous it only belongs in jokes. That would heal the wounds it inflicts but i suppose making it serious business no joke and engineering conflicts around that is great to keep ourselves busy with issues that really matter.
Don't try to be a smartass and answer the question.
Did you use the n-word, son? I won't ask again.
Cringe and nice pasta
cant wait to see the kojima autists act like this is a unrecognized masterpiece that normies dont truly understand
