Why do PS4 exclusives always look so fucking good? Why is it that multiplats can't come close to this despite being on PC too?

They have some decent engines, and are optimised only for one hardware combination. That said, your picture isn't a great example. Water and distant terrain in that pic look pretty shit, and there's really not much in view so it's not like there's a good reason for that.

To be fair though, red dead looks better than almost all ps4 exclusives and its multiplat.
I agree they look good, just wish they had more style like in gravity rush

Because they run at 2 frames per second.

better?

looks bad

This just looks terrible, water is just a flat opaque plane with blurry inaccurate reflections and barely any movement.

Not by much. Water looks shit in a lot of games so you can pass on that, but it's not even reflective. Foliage draw distance isn't good. That bare tree has branches not even connected to the tree. Flat textures, boring lighting.
Maybe the game is just a poor example in general, considering your claims. Like the other user said, RDR2 manages to have a lot more activity in its environments and is also better looking.

>people actually think plain Jane days gone looks good

OP is a 9 year old.

probably has something to do with the fact that sony always wins baby

when will developers stop making 'mountains' like this? looks like piles of fucking clay, this isn't what the real world looks like at all

real life has shit graphics

Cant tell if this is bait.

The tech is fixed, the gameplay is linear, the draw distances are small and the development budget is massive.

Will PC ever get a studio with a big budget behind it ever again? We got Crysis 1 and it's been port scraps ever since

Define scraps.

In my opinion downgraded ports that barely run on consoles is what id consider scraps.
Metro exodus was basically unplayable on the PS4 until they patched the game to not have half a second of input delay.
And despite what CDRed is saying you know the definite version of Cyberpunk will be the PC port just like the Witcher 3.

Is this a minecraft rtx mod?

Control currently also only has ray tracing on the PC and the PS4 version runs at sub 20 fps.

this is a promo shot

>people actually think days gone looks good

This game gets shit on by ghost recon wildlands which came out over a year before.

I mean something developed specifically with high end PC's in mind. Crysis was almost bleeding edge at the time of it's release actually needing good hardware to run. Consoles only got a port years later and it looked pathetic by comparison. Far greater than the gap between current PC and console ports

In game.
Using Ansel gives a Witcher 3 watermark.

Maybe but personally 60 fps vs sub 30 fps still seams like a pretty big gap to me.
Thats like 2x better performance on PC.

Why does a 2007 PC game still look better than 99% of console games?

Games can't render more than three trees at a time.

this game looks and runs and plays like utter shit

They all have this kind of "illustrated" stylized look to them, like that makes stuff like those boards seem huge and up in your face as you're driving over them. Stuff is exaggerated, but in a good way that directs your eyes to the important parts. It's hard to explain

Doesn't Hunt Showdown require a decent PC? It looked pretty nice from what I saw of it too.
