What's the hardest game of all time?
What's the hardest game of all time?
bump
some ridiculous chess AI like Stockfish 9
The next one most likely is an actual big brain puzzle game like something from Zachtronics.
The most difficult action game is probably some bullet hell.
Life
Some shit Mario romhack
Minecraft
literally 100% of all players have reached the end though
That's not true, some are still playing
Yeah but most of them get the shitty F 'disease or get shot' ending
You just posted, but the average Yea Forums has no ideia what is.
you gonna post the screencap or what?
Ninja Gaiden 2 at master ninja, a Touhou Project game at lunatic or some music game like Beatmania IIDX
there you go
also halo 2 at legendary is unbalanced as shit so it's worth mentioning
Not just 4 specifically but early Wizardry games were hard in general
ah there it is. what the fuck were the devs honestly thinking?
Getting laid
wasn't there also a maze map screencap which absolutely ridiculous?
Sekiro.
Sekiro is the hardest game of all time.
Hardest game to enjoy? Sure.
I'm sorry but talking shit about SeKino is not allowed on this board.
Do you have Elden Ring to do mr. miyazaki?
How do you even beat this game?
Not true tho, there's a secret path that unlocks a different ending and modifies the playthrough in strange ways, it becomes way crazy.
wtf are you even supposed to do here
Die.
What that user didn't say was that while the monsters sound horrible too, and they are, your dudes are basically living legends too and can easily fuck those shitters up.
Tiltowait.
Pray.
Dark Holes 1
>What's the hardest game of all time?
No game where you face AI enemies is ever truly hard. Hard games only exist as multiplayer experiences where you can face someone better than you and even there the difficulty depends on your opponent. On a side note the wizardry games are not that hard even if they are considerably harder than most modern games.
P.S. the early wizardry games are garbage and the cosmic lords saga(Wizardry 6, Wizardry 7 and Wizardry 8) is the only worthwhile adventure in the Wizardry series that still stands the test of time.
>likes Bradleyshit
>has a terrible opinion
It checks out
Wizardy IV is not a game. Each mechanic was tailor made to counter those techniques. You're grinding for XP? No XP at all, you can only LV Up throught the plot. You're mapping? There are levels that can't be mapped. There's 1 level thats just a room, copied 16 times over, all the things you need are behind invisible walls, also random spots around the room will teleport you to a random room without telling you so. Besides that, there dick moves things thieves that can steal plot critical items, and the game won't tell you. Trebor who can game end you and he moves in real time despite the game being turn-based.
tl;dr Wizardy IV was literally a 'fuck you' to the people who cheesed out the earlier games and called them easy.
You mean the stoner route?
I'm playing Wizardry 1 right now and it's legit one of the hardest games I've ever played(easily the hardest rpg I've played) and yet it's supposedly nothing compared to Wizardry 4. The suffering is pretty fun though.
I'm only on level 5 but the monsters are brutal, any tips on surviving the lower levels?
>Trebor who can game end you and he moves in real time despite the game being turn-based.
>moves in real time despite the game being turn-based.
holy fuck
Honestly dark souls 2 sotfs. Beat 1 and 3, but this one just rapes me
The game was made for people who mastered the previous wizardry games, so while some levels seem absurd to zoomers they were just insane for boomers.
How does this game compare to the Wizardry games in difficulty? I've been playing for a bit and it was tough in the beginning, but as soon as I got multi target spells and more HP everything got much easier.
Dungeon of the Endless, 50 hours in and I still can only beat it on very easy 50% of the time
Pretty much on par with
>started playing sotfs
>"holy shit this game is far harder than DS1, I'm not sure I have the patience for this"
>find out I wandered into a high-level area by mistake
>what the fuck were the devs honestly thinking?
Wizardry IV is explicitly listed as an expert-level scenario. They weren't fucking around.
Really? I was expecting this to be Wizardy lite, which is kinda why I played it since I probably wouldn't have the patience for Wizardry. Should I be expecting anything like what is talking about later? I've only really explored up the the 2nd floor and the basement.
Spam tiltowait.
It's really not hard at all, I wish people would stop posting greentext without the game's context, you can make anything look hard.
Who thought this was a good idea?
And no, there's no way to see the landmines, and no, they don't disappear when they blow up.
Effectively, Wizardry 4 is to Wizardry like SMB2 JP/Lost Levels was to SMB.
fuck that area with stone golems AND white knights that activate when you kill the boss. If you ever get in a 2v1 or more you're toast, and they're literally made to aggro at the same time
Star World
I haven't played it but pretty much all Wizardry-likes aren't as hard as Wizardry 1-4 and don't feature insane bullshit. Does this game contain permadeath?
git gud noobs
>tfw too much of a pleb to get into wizardry
besides I dont even know where to get 1 to 5
By savescumming
start with wizardry 8
Yeah, you should speedrun it :^)
Get the japanese remakes for PS1
Wizardry Llylgamyn Saga (1 to 3) and Wizardry New Age of Llylgamyn (4 & 5)
TGM, I've been playing it for years and still can't beat master mode.
