Anyone played this yet? Just pirated it and it feels super clunky.

nobody?
Maybe you should talk more about how you pirated an indie videogame so all the kids know how cool you are, kid.
oh no muh indie devs
Is it out? I've had my eye on it from some time.
I don't understand why Yea Forums sucks indie dick so fucking hard. They make mediocre shit as much as big developers.
Post link, I want to play RE ripoff kino
>Is it out?
yes.
Nice. The third person survival horror doesn't get any love outside RE.
There’s a demo
It's literally the same shit as RE2make.
Why is the reloading mechanic so stupid
>Tap R for a fast reloading causes your ammo to drop
>Holding it makes you reload slower but you keep the ammo
>Have to assign the ammo in a quick slot
except worse. feels very amateurish
>quick reload drops the mag
>you need mags to reload
>can't pick up mag
Liking the game so far, it's the first project from a 10 ppl indie studio so don't be too harsh, the result is great and it has more street sections than REmake 2(don't get me wrong I love REmake 2). Would totally rec for Survival Horror connoisseurs.
a daymare is just a horse
With big publishers, nobody gets fucked over. The games sell millions and staff are paid with investor money and profits from FIFA.
With an indie dev you are stealing a weeks' worth of lunches from one person.
It's a survival horror game with authetically hilarious survival horror game dialog. No shit, it's clunky. It's a love letter to clunk.
The game was clearly designed for consoles and controllers. Why even bother making a pc version if it controls like garbage with mouse and keyboard?
I fucking hate this
>make indie game
>make controller the designed method of play
Because console players will obviosuly be your target audience, right, fuckers?
in this day and age if you make a game and expect people not to pirate it then you're just a retarded faggot
independent developers know the risks so they can go get a job at walmart if their wittle tummy is rumbly
What's wrong with the M+KB controls aside from the lack of mouse support in menus? And nonexistent key rebinding?
>With big publishers, nobody gets fucked over.
Corporations Are People.
So much this. The new game by the fran bow devs is a point and click adventure game that doesn't use a fucking mouse. To move across the screen you have to use A and D and an interact button to click items. Fran bow wasn't even on consoles just pc and mobile. But the new game is designed only for controllers and obviously consoles.
The game has to be purposefully slower to accommodate for controllers. Enemies have to be slower and the player has to move slower because a controller is too inaccurate, so the devs have to compensate for this.
It's purposefully slow because every other major design choice in the game is rationalized with "that's how RE1 did it".
>make your games control shit because an old game had shit controls
Why?
Because people don't get not everything in old games was that way because the devs wanted it so. Some stuff was like that because limitations, but "OLD GOOD" makes retards commit mistakes actual developers got rid off by the early 2000s
Noone would even bother to upload literal who game on torrents
Because the game exists to pander to oldschool fans and nobody else. The game is a giant piece of nostalgia wank. Not to say it's bad. It's merely focuswed on its niche.
That's the game that inspired the RE2 remake, if I'm correct.
Yes. Or at the very least Capcom studied it rather closely.
tried the demo. thought it was dumb how the intro focused so much on the faces, considering they were barely animated and looked terrible. and the sitting posture of the specops dude in the helicopter made him look like a woman, with the legs shut tight together.
I deleted the game when it locked my camera onto the survivor's head and told me to kill him. if the game is gonna take away all my control then just make it a fucking cut scene, don't pretend that I am still playing when I am clearly not.
