Play the game on easy, you shouldnt be playing a fucking fallout game for its gameplay. I mainly say that because it fucks explosive damage into the dirt on higher difficulty where I'd have to unload 6+ shots from a grenade rifle to kill fucking anyone while they can one or two shot me in power armor.

I know, Asurah's was one of the mods I was using, but it's unfinished. You can't use energy weapons because the sighting animation is broken, the grip is used from Asurah's but the reload is used from vanilla. It's janky as fuck. Also, I don't like how the animations adjust the rate of fire of handguns, it fucks with the balancing. The other alternative is Hitman's animations which are also broken in similar ways, and similarly unfinished.

There are many good mods out there but the sad truth is that many shitty mods overshadow the great ones that are being released nowadays just because they were made at the height of New Vegas' popularity. This is unlike Morrowind, which by the time it reached the Nexus wasn't THAT popular anymore, so new, great mods are still released and are able to gain visibility because there's still a dedicated fanbase around the game.

What all of this means is that shitty mods don't really get improved anymore because they become the standard. What ends up happening, most of the time, is that different mods that do the exact same thing (but differently) are released, as opposed to a collaboration project (which is what happens with Morrowind, where the community is very tight).

I know what you mean by old standards. A lot of "essential" mods are leftovers from like 2011 when people didn't know shit about the engine and made all these adjustments here and there which just add up and cause issues later down the line.

I used to be the kind of faggot who would install 100 mods making all these tiny adjustments like "woah this mod improves foliage" and "this one makes these meshes better" but the truth is all you're doing is piling shit upon shit on a game that doesn't really benefit from it.

For me, it's near-vanilla. Just stutter fix, anti crash, Vanilla UI Plus and some bugfixes. I don't even use ambient occlusion because it looks janky as fuck and flickers on/off when you move the camera a certain way.

I have this when i use different shaders than default that conflict with ENB's AO, mixing NVR with ENB for instance gives this issue.

I can vouch for this, New Vegas mods are a fucking mess. Bunch of autists overstepping the boundaries of their own mods, slipping dirty edits, no QC whatsoever.

I don't use any shaders. I've never installed a shader mod or post process filte for Fallout in my life. I enabled the AO in nvidia control panel.

I run the game heavily modded when it comes to gameplay and quality of life improvements, but for graphics themselves it's a weather mod, lighting mods, and body/face/hair replacers because vanilla NPCs look downright terrible. I use Character Expansions Revised because I don't like how mods like Fallout Character Overhaul or New Vegas Redesigned modify characters to look like zombies or lore unfriendly.

to add, mine is a mix of a tweaked Sevens sins and il sometimes use NVR for additional ambient occlusion + their custom shader which makes night time look really good, but cartoony during day, like this, i only enable both when i wanna do cool night shots, like the webm posted
If you decide to go after how i made it look, tweak the AO and light levels, aswell as tweaking the post and objectprocessing trying out the default one if running NVR because that enables their processing tweaks instead of ENB

It's easy you take all the gold then drop all of it. See when you drop all of it instead of getting a pile you get one brick that contains all the bricks. After that you simply "pick it up" levitate it and get out. There is a force field that blocks you from the exit but the brick can pass through so you toss it through and pick it up on your way out.

The original creator resigned during the production of F2. He even said the storyline of 2 changed drastically from when he had worked on it. F1 and F3 are peak post apocalypse in the Fallout world. F2 and NV are post post apocalypse.

I combined the S.T.E.P wiki guide but removed Project Nevada because I don't like it. Also combined it with shit from one of the /fog/ guides.
