Rather than asking players to set their own pronouns for V...

>Rather than asking players to set their own pronouns for V, the game will often opt for a pronoun-free approach when other characters talk about you. Consider it one of the many practical benefits of going by a monosyllabic mononym.

What the fuck I thought you guys were just memeing gamesradar.com/uk/cyberpunk-2077-gender-options/

So in otherwords, they were to cheap to record different voicelines...

I haven't actually bothered watching any clips, but lemme guess, V's the ever so lovable silent protagonist too aren't THEY...

I think there's a difference between wanting your natural actual pronoun and not your pretend mentally ill pronouns

It would feel wrong playing a male character with everyone calling you V

>Hate yourself so much that you can't escape reality and hop into a role playing video game for a few hours leaving your shit behind and self inserting as a fictional non-corporeal being
Mental Illness...

>CDPR hire mutt SJW patrol to make sure game isn't offensive to burgers
>be surprised at the results

there are no natural pronouns. grammar is manmade

Have you guys never played Mass Effect or Dragon Age or any other game like that? That's all this is. In ME they call you "Shepard/Ryder", in DA they call you "Hawk/Inquisitor". In Cyberpunk they call you "V".

The games media seems to be dressing this up as some progressive move for gender neutral trannies but it's actually just laziness. By calling you "Name" they don't have to record two sets of lines and code where they're different.

>pronoun-free approach when other characters talk about you
It's not gonna work in any language
