I played him for the first month of Ultimate, along with Lucina.

Now that I have Ultimate fundamentals down, I have way more fun playing Joker.

I gotta say, as an absolute shitter, I still have fun playing him. Few things more satisfying than strutting up and giving someone THE CLAP.

It's because the Competitive Smash Community is perfectly content to inhale stale farts while using only a handful of SSBU's characters that they deem "Top Tier".

They don't use characters they might actually like out of fear of being called a scrub.

Yeah at the beginning, but even at the beginning, it was very clear that K. Rool had some serious flaws.

I'll stick to Bowser then. I love his spiky shell spin, his grabbing wrestling attack and down-stomp (i dont know how those called).

I liked Kroll because its the only character that makes me escape any fall because he flies up on propeller thing for a really long time.

Bowser is really solid especially in a 1v1 if you manage to get a stock above your opponent and just end the game by fucking kamakazee.
It's cheap and almost uncounterable when you get it right. But it never gets old.
He's pretty solid on group battles too, much better than Krool

I loved playing Little Mac to begin with. But the more I played him, the more I realized how flawed he is and one of the easiest characters to win against regardless who he's fighting.
There are competitive fags who will only pick what google says is top tier, suck at the character because they haven't practiced, then move on to whatever the flavour of the month is. I say choose and stick with a main after playing everyone for a bit to see how each character plays.

I still do and I always will.
He's literally my highest GSP character with almost 5.5 mil.

It's powerful in its own right and can take someone out completely if their percentage is high. Or you can jump off the side with them and allauh akbar off a cliff.

Because Sakurai gave into the whining and nerfed his ass. I still play as Kroc because he's best boy. Always will be my favorite to use. But I can see why everyone dropped him after the madman absolutely destroyed K. Rool and any potential he had. Still makes me mad to this day.

Plus, there's other characters people are trying out. Banjo just came out, there's Hero, Joker, the DLC just keeps coming.

It can win a game outright if your opponent is on his last stock and you're not.
Or if you get the first kill and you can pull it off another two times you can win a match easily.
It's a cheap tactic but fun.
Alternatively, Bowser is just strong outright, you can rack up a lot of damage fast and almost all of his attacks can kill

It bypasses shields and can be really effective if you get close enough.
Be warned though, most people will anticipate it and will try and distance themselves or stay in the middle of the arena, good thing about Bowser is that his attacks are weighty and strong and can easily get people to the edge of the platform.
Once you grab them and you're falling off the side of the map, you've comitted. On Ultimate you will always die first so never do this on your last stock some characters on some levels can even fly up from the bottom of the map and deny you your glorious kill if they're quick enough. But it's never happened to me.
Look up a few videos on youtube to see how it's done.

You need to be lower percent than your opponent to influence the flying press, it's not as simple as getting a stock and then grabbing the other player and gettkng an easy kill.

user, Incineroar's like Duck Hunt: they're gimped at the gate to keep them from being broken. You give the tiger more speed and he's running train on everyone.

Matches with a 5-minute timer would’ve solved that. By the time a stock is lost, a round is almost done, which explains why people try to run.

You're comparing a balanced character to a shit character. Making Incineroar actually able to catch up with characters won't make him broken. You must think Bowser and Charizard break the game if you think giving actual mobility to heavies makes them OP.

I play him with friends because he's my favorite character period. But he is kind of shitty. All heavyweight characters have a huge disadvantage in a game set on mobility and open areas like Smash, contrary to games like skullgirls with a restricted space.

Any Dedede mains here? I like how his style of gameplay is all about setups and punishing mistakes on the other player. If you can read opponents or if they are predictable in any way, you can usually fuck them up with a gordo setup.
I haven’t figured out how to fully abuse the charge hammer though
