Is Chaos hard to learn if I have no experience with puppet characters?

his puppet is basically just his special moves, he's much easier to learn than most puppet characters

Not really.
He's not a fake puppet character like Celica but Azhi doesn't have normals like Relius' doll does. It's just specials so Chaos is significantly easier, but it does help to have a lot of positioning and awareness.

For the 66c>623b do you want them to hit the outer edge or a little more "inside" it? I've had the most consistency with the earlier hits of it but it still feels like its wrong even though it's working fine

you want to time it so that you're hitting the inner edge of the pillar
if you aim for the far side of it you can use it to set up safejumps and setup meme triple overheads with 9 icjc ja jb

Ah, I think I remember which one you refer to. I was attempting 66B > 214C > ABC, but fucked up the input. I think the end of the hitstun prevented the IW from landing as a result.

If this is on pad its likely that the rubber has started to rip on the dpad or the buttons. You can get a replacement set for 3-5 dollars on amazon. Then just look up a tutorial for opening up the ds4 and its a simple fix. Note that while it helps, it never feels like brand new

I think it's been a bad day for unist in general, I had a 5 frame match + lag with deska who is someone I get 2-3 with often and other matches have been 4 frames

Elaborate on what the Seth's style is. Does he cross-up a lot with 214A, try to off-screen orbs, stagger well, or does he just j214A a lot?
Most times you never want to let him just run his 214x on you so you can backdash out of it. What are you generally struggling with?

He's always in my face, feel like I can never get out of his pressure, rarely j214a's, mostly having trouble with getting counter hit when I think his turn is over.

The obvious answer is to really never let him in because his close range buttons vastly outdo yours. Never let him set orbs up for free and try to interrupt him with your 4B, which pulls back your hitbox, and 2B since it's probably the best you got compared to the likes of 2A and shit.
Maybe try and backdash out of things too unless he's throwing a lot of 66C/623x in there

seth's up close rebeat pressure and just recovery on his normals is absurd, you either need to call out a pressure reset attempt or guess right and get out

I feel like it's more of an impulse thing than straight up knowledge, but actually reading and comparing the frame data would probably help cement it in my head some.
