I actually prefer the original Blops to MW2 personally, MW2 is just a bit too much wacky bullshit going on for my tastes. That being said, every CoD after those two has been steadily declining in quality.

The only good thing about it was that you could use console commands when you were the host to hijack a lobby and force everyone to play whatever map you wanted and game mode you wanted. Which was good, because this was the game to kill dedicated servers, among other things like lean (I forgot until now how mad everyone was for them removing that), and cheaters were running rampant. Activision gave no shits and did nothing to stop it.

Those maps have perfect flow. I knew where people would be based on the gametime they had such good flow, and moving around them was risk/reward.
MW2 wasn't laned. BlOps began that trend but it wasn't in full swing until MW3.
