Had a fucked disc and never made it past the wall boss so I gave up.

Fuck that Red Dragon, had to load a older save because I couldn't beat him and you can't backtrack from the save before him to grind.

I mean the temple in general. It’s hard to navigate the Escher painting area because they’re all either dead ends or hidden parts obscured by the background, the rolling log segment is stupid, and the time guardian “puzzle” is just a dumb gimmick. And THEN you have the dragon faggot

They're both fine.

Played for the first time on switch with only a minor crash. Don't open the Y menu immediately after a boss and you should be good.

But that's the first thing I do after bosses.

I don't need to prove myself I am a gamer, or that not playing FF7 wouldn't make me one.

viii is mind numbingly boring

He probably means played when you know what you're doing. Disc 2 is probably about 2/3rds the length of Disc 1 and Disc 3 is just the final dungeon and the gigantic FMVs that finish off the game

Took me four tries to get past the two hour mark, and once I did beat it I realized how overrated it is.
It wasn't particularly bad, but it's not some masterpiece.

Put in 3 hours and it didn't "click" by then. Plus I've played Crisis Core and all the spinoffs/Dissidia so I don't know if the game would have the same impact with all the surprise taken out
