I have a feeling that boomers will cope very hard in this thread.
I like God of War and Minecraft. Suck my cock
shut the fuck up retarded incel
This is true, zoomers don't care about cinematics
>minecraft
>zoomercore
You do realize that minecraft is a decade old now, right?
You do realize that zoomers are 22 now right?
>You do realize ______, right?
>Minecraft
>gameplay
Where? I thought this was nothing more than a lego simulator. Did they add gameplay to it or did my nieces and nephews just somehow skip the gameplay aspects?
>fortnite
>pure gameplay
>passionate
>includes retarded meme dances
No?
>only compares AAA to indie when zoomers love AAA as much as the next guy
Sorry but both groups are fucking worthless. Stop pretending otherwise.
>Zoomers
>Playing obscure indie shit
>any of those
>obscure
Zoomers play rdr as well
>fortnite
>passionate independent developer
based Tim
In terms of childhood eras
Millennialcore: SNES, Genesis, PS1, N64, Dreamcast
Transition: PS2, Gamecube, Xbox
Zoomercore: Xbox 360, PS3, Wii
Fortnite hate has always seemed nonsensical to me.
Put all of the games on the left on the right except The Witcher 3. Then put all of the game on the right on the left except Minecraft and Fortnite. Then you have an accurate list of what Zoomers and Boomers play.
Ampharos
>coomercore: nude mod and XXX SFMs of Nier: Automata
>childhood eras
>Millennial starts at SNES
I technically qualify as a millennial and we started at the NES. SNES wasn't even out for a couple more years after I started playing games.
>being so tranny you're a wannabe janny
They're both zoomer core
im thinkin the 5th and 6th console generations - n64/psx to gamecube/ps2 - contained the kind of gameplay that more present developers need to imitate
gameplay being the focus, worlds being whimsical and bright, no overly intrusive story, just you, the world with secrets to find, and enemies for you to beat the hell out of
those kinds of games defined vidya for me
NES is more late gen x, but it's on the cusp since it lasted for so long
The building is the gameplay.
>pure gameplay
>no tutorials
That really doesn't mean shit when the gameplay is terrible and simplistic as fuck.
I'll stick with my arena shooters, RTS, strategy, fighting and action games for gameplay kiddo, and I'll enjoy my cinematic experiences and role-playing games too.
I can't believe user predicted the future!
Born in '87 so I started playing 4 years after the NES release, and 2 years before the SNES. Thing is millennials start 6 years before I was born so the first millennials would have started playing games before the NES even came out.
