It would just be another Alien, just scratch the xenomorphs out for metroids
Forget that, I just want a first person Metroid Fusion
I want Ridley to have a bigger role then just "That asshole that keeps showing up".
Ridley is literally just a giant angry pterodactly with no lines in the games isn't it? He really ought to have a personal vendetta against Samus, which probably woudln't be all that hard to establish.
He's clearly shown to be sentient, just incapable of speech and is fairly angry at Samus
Incidentally the game with the best story was also the worst game from a gameplay perspective.
>gameexplain
No thanks.
He does speak in the manga, he has also designed a mecha recreation of himself.
People shilling their YT channels should be permbanned
Canonically he can speak multiple alien langueges, including Earth languages. But the games for some reason never try to go beyond mild subtext and supplimentary material.
What fucking story?
>lol go kill all the metroids
>samus saves one but kills the rest
yeah, fucking phenomenal plot.
Ridley has the intelligence of a genius canonically.
The gameplay is perfect as a handheld game. Its meant to be played in short bursts between ding other things. 10 minutes on the bus, 20 minutes on a break, a few minutes on the toilet, whatever.
>a few minutes on the toilet
Is this what Americans do? Spend more than a minute on the toilet if they aren't constipated?
The manga is pretty bad for the most part, but does establish a decent backstory for the series with the whole K2-L plot.
This
Exactly, so it feels like wasted potential they don't use that.
Why not make a 13 episode anime series based on the manga?
He should probably speak in the movie, not sure how to do it.
I never beat this one, and it kind of annoys me that I didn't having actually struggled through the original. Don't know why, just couldnt get into it.
I'd love to see all the stuff that's only glimpsed upon at the end of Zero mission though. Where she confronts the Chozo spirit or whatever, and you see a glimpse of her past.
>dude, let's make Mother Brain a human creation
They completely missed the point
Only way I see Ridley talking to Samus is electronically. Like through a communicator in her helmet.
Give him a really smooth voice too, that'd be spooky.
Or like how the alien in Indpendance Day grabs that hippy scientist and uses him as a speech puppet.
The manga was great. I like how it shed a light over the extinction of the Chozo and their role on raising Samus. The way it also tied why Samus feels its her duty to hunt Metroids was nice too.
or just give him a translator so his voice sounds robotic and creepy
I like that idea.
It's shit, Samus's parents weren't scientists, Mother Brain is a Chozo AI, the Space Pirates acquired Metroids when Samus was an adult, and Ridley doesn't talk.
>in the manga
But not in the games.
>Ridley: REeeeeEEEEEEEEeeeEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
>Translator: FUCK NIGGERS. FUCK JANNIES.
I think one was an engineer and one was a scientist. The manga mentions they were stationed on a planet mining afloralite, but in the games, they're stationed on an actual space station during Ridley's invasion with the pirates.
Wait but wasn’t Samus on her home world K2-L in the games? I’m sure one of the endings for Fusion has Samus being protected by her parents who are being attacked by Space Pirates and Ridley?
explain the point plz
turning Mother Brain into human made tech is outright dumb. Mother Brain is supposed to be one of the biggest creations of the chozo, and she's very proud of it. She lives on Zebes, a planet inhabited by the Chozo. Also, she's the creator of Samus's Power Suit. It was also Mother Brain who fused her DNA with chozo DNA.
While Mother Brain being a Chozo AI built on Zebes is canon, the rest of your points are from the manga. All we know from the games is that Samus got the Power Suit and Chozo DNA form the Chozo. I put the games over the manga in canon. By the way, this is a different guy.
I see the manga as secondary canon. Whenever it doesn't contradicts canon, I consider it canon. For exemple, it makes sense for Mother Brain to have created the Samus's Power Suit, since the chozo were all old fucks already, and as far as I know, nothing in the games contradict that information. Even though some things in the manga are non-canon, there are also some things that are and should be considered canon.
