It's better than Gears 4 but good god Gears 5 is one of the most boring games I've ever played. Just way too much downtime plus walk and talk bullshit and not enough big fire fights. The characters are bland as white bread too.

I'm only playing it because of cheap game pass but I don't even want to finish it and have pretty much dropped it for BL3. Also the open world stuff in Gears 5 is trash and should leave holy fuck why did they add it.
