I'm expecting them to completely redo the space station scene. I think they will make it blatantly obvious that Alvis is Ontos. The scene where Alvis uses the Monado will be amped up even more to really drive home that he's basically a Blade using a Blade Special. There will be new scenes for Riki, Melia and Dunban. H2H will be completely voiced.

Really the only thing I'm not sure of will be how the Arts Pallet will be handled now, since using the D-pad will be less viable while moving around. Could use a context menu with just the face buttons?

I'm not expecting any huge changes to the story (other than the Klaus flashback being reworked to match up with 2 a bit), but it would be neat to see the side story from the art book worked into the game as a sidequest or something.

Apart from two scene where Poppi QT is shown, in the story there's always Poppi Alpha which is ok but I was a little disappointed, I really liked the design for QT and QT pi

I feel like part of the reason XCDE is being made is so that players introduced to the franchise with XC2 are brought up to speed with the lore, so when XC3 is a continuation of both games they know what the fuck is going on.

I'm not entirely sure if that's the direction I want the franchise to go in but with the success of XC2 (and potentially XCDE which will probably sell even better) I would be surprised if they end up dropping the characters completely.

I played it on Bringer of Chaos and only decided to use the Cores that the game provides as part of the Season Pass as total for one playthrough. So you basically draft what you can from those and then build your team around that. Sure it'll be hard to fulfill some field checks or max out the Merc missions, but it'll be a nice change of pace and might make you use Blades you didn't really give much thought before.

There will not be anything from the sequel in the prequel you can be sure of this, it makes no logical sense for them to add anything from the future games in the remaster of the game that started it all and especially not showing the Monado which is something that is revealed AFTER you learn that 2 is connected to 1 with Rex's vision, if they showed Malos with a Monado they would be telling people that there's something connecting Alvis and Malos before they need to know that. What I am expecting is maybe a playable Rex and Pyra but without the blade system to fit it with 1's gameplay, just like how they made Shulk and Fiora act as blades in 2 to fit their gameplay
