Likable protagonist and people still are not tired of Yakuza rehashes.
the god tier combat
hilarious how sega always says the sales are good but never releases any numbers
The fact that Yakuzafags will buy any and every game in this franchise and Sega finally picked up on it after Yakuza 4. When are they not already thinking about a sequel?
>What went right?
It was made by former team members of Sega's Amusement Vision, the developer of F-Zero GX.
That's because yakuza is great
>QTE infested shit
>that ragdoll effect after getting hit once
Whoa so this is the fun the Yakuza series offers...
but Yea Forums told me it would flop until the inevitable pc port...
shut the fuck up zoom zoom
>disliking shit combat makes you a zoomer
Whoa so boomers only like awful games....
So thats why the new yakuza is a rpg. Otherwise they would have amde the same game twice.
>inb4 that fucking autist comes in and spams every combat webm thinking every game unironically has good combat. Kiwami 2 and 0 are the only ones with decent combat.
They bothered to market it.
This is a brand new game released in 2019 for the Playstation 4
Isn't Judgement's combat pretty much just the same as Kiwami 2's, though?
>I'll screenshot a compressed webm
>That'll show 'em
Pathetic.
>Isn't Judgement's combat pretty much just the same as Kiwami 2's, though?
Nope. Even then, I said they're decent. They're really not fucking good like Yakuza mega autists like to praise them.
do you really think that would look good in HD? it would probably look worse
I think it does what it wants to well. It feels like a 3D version of classic beat em ups. It's not super deep or the pinnacle of action game fighting, but to go "it's not good" feels like being unneccesarily critical. It's more than just "decent", no matter how butthurt you get over people singing its praises a little too much.
This. Yes, the combat is brainless and unchallenging and sort of shit, but I don't know why people feel the need to say so.
>those reused Yakuza animations
come back when you're an older thinking man
I think that both together would too much even for the yakuza autists.
sauce?
Should be turn based as well.
Capitalized on the series new found popularity in the west with an interesting spinnoff with some new mechanics both inside and outside of combat and a surprisingly fun to play (if a little bland personality wise outside of side quests) protagonist. Tak is almost as fun as Zero Majima
