Nah, I actually don't agree. GG systems are way too rooted in knowledge, moreso than BB. Character weight, spacing requirements, recovery frames of moves which gets ever crazier when you throw RC in it, throw OS because throw isn't 2 buttons but button+forward direction instead. That's all from the top of my head, there's probably more.
BB is simpler than that. Combos in 80% of cases don't require weight knowledge or spacing awareness, the worst thing you gotta watch out for is the combo deterioriation, starting with a bad starter etc. Okis are easier to learn, no crazy slowmo from RC.
Don't confuse easy with deep. BB is deep as hell too and defence in that game is just as hard given the setups that cover so many of your retaliation options while having unreactable 50/50s with instant crossups.

Agree, the whole "B-But it should be unique" doesn't hold up since a graphical style shouldn't be the sole factor on if a fighting game is unique, the gameplay should.

Are you really complaining about throw OS? You just press forward [button]+HS. So its like a 2 button throw still... Remembering different combos for different weights is easy too, and you don't have to learn the 100% most optimal combos, just learn one for each weight at most, BB has roman cancels too. You're too inside your head thinking, GG isn't as difficult as you think it is

user forgot to mention that the "Godzilla" monster was created by the bad guy and it spewing out "magic radiation" is the reason people can use "science magic". Also there is a giant monster in space too, who blows up a facility wherein the clone sister was originally, later on you have to defeat it.
Also there is a Death God who took the MC's actual sister as his body and is basically the Emperor from Star Wars, but the bad guy is the guy behind the government and other orginizations somehow
