Tifa has a command in the E3 trailer called ‘Unbridled Strength’. This isn’t a direct translation of any of the above abilities, but is almost certainly the English version of one of the first two abilities listed above. My money is on this being ‘Unleash Special Ability’.

Ifrit -

Flare Burst: Unleash an elemental firestorm AOE attack around your foe. (Translated)

Crimson Dive: Perform a diving attack on your foe from above. (Translated)

We see both these abilities in the Aps fight.

We already know that some abilities boost the stagger gauge quicker than others, but a few of the Japanese descriptions show that some abilities are designed to be used DURING the stagger period for added effect (Infinite End, MP Absorb). Looks like staggering is going to be a crucial part of the tactical game.

Tifa 7R combat is literally just Eight's combat from Type-0. Except Eight has actual stances that you have in combat like Wildfire/raging fire Stance or Thunderclap stance or Gale stance etc, Tifa doesn't have actual stances but Eight has the same uppercut spin, downward attack, spinning kick and normals that Tifa has and a bunch of others. Like how Tifa's Triangle attack is Omnipunch then Bash, Eight has Diamond Knuckles to Rising Uppercut on whichever button you assign the Knuckles to.
