My thoughts are Nina will be Accel to rival Coco like she did in Radical. Brio will be turn because scientists have no turn guy. N Gins Accel, Cortex is balanced and Tropy is speed. And Moe will be speed. But who knows.

Wasn't Spyro actually balanced right before release but reddit complained so they changed it last minute? Always thought it was weird that Gnasty was Turning and Hunter was Balanced. Really feel that Spyro was supposed to be Balanced, Gnasty Speed and Hunter Turning.

My theory was Spyro was changed to speed so people would play him more since hes the star of this GP. Hunter wouldve been Accel cause hes a cheetah and Gnasty speed cause of how fast he is when u first “fight” him. Then Ripto and Sorceress is a toss up.

I kinda want to hear his Rocky-inspired voice going over some lines

I'm retrospect, the Spyro GP stats make sense.
Spyro's gameplay consists of him ramming and chasing enemies, so he's speed.
Hunter is a semi-competent side character that's also a clumsy goofball, so he's balanced.
Gnasty Gnorc's boss level consisted of him running away in a maze with sharp corners and tight hallways, so he's turning.

Well when you put it that way for Hunter and Gnasty it makes sense.

He's definitely the more consistent racer. With how much he's raced I wonder how many times he's actually been beaten by a turnfag.

Changing how the classes play would make it more complicated. The games main selling point was that it played just like the original. Knowing other people’s classes is pretty useless since there are not many opportunities to actually pick and choose who to use an item on. It doesn’t matter if you want it either since the longevity will go down when people realize that their favorite character sucks ass.
