What are the gacha rates and hows the f2p currency collecting?

It's in beta so difficult to say. Free currency doesn't seem to roll out that often (they've dumped a load on us for various fixes). Rates seem...alright? Might just be lucky with getting stuff I wanted. Gacha is crammed full of equipment/character hybrid though...so if you're really itching for a certain character, you might get bogged with weapons. 100% Guaranteed A or S rank on a multi.

Anyone else have a glitch where some of the textures on the character models are all white on android? It's ruining my dolly dress up game. Help.

V Electric, Beam Machinegun and Shotgun were the strongest of the weapons I got to use, good in both PvE and PvP.
Sniper Buster and Poison Sprayer were bad in both PvE and PvP.
Sabers are good for speedrunning and braindead jump apeing in pvp.
Shadow Buster is decent in PvE because of how it works as a spreadshot boomerang.
Launchers don't seem that good but I didnt get the A rank one until the beta ended.
Never got enough fragments for a Bio Buster or Minigun and I probably never will when the game releases so who knows how good those are.
The mini-max strat when the game finally drops will probably be to rank X to his max and unlock all his shit before focusing on other chars since he seems to have the strongest and easiest to use CD'd for both PvE and PvP situations.

Why does it play Monster Hunter music when she clears the level?

Sniper Buster was the best weapon in the game. The low firing rate didn't matter since you could just use your skills or swap to the other sniper weapon (Falcon Buster) after firing.

Marino was the best character in the beta
prove me wrong I hope they buff her dash so she has I-frames. It's a dumb that it does damage but you take that touch damage for using it Ultimate X's dash is like that too and it's also dumb considering he has less uses before his goes into Cooldown

Iframes in the beta were broken, I think. Ultimate X has a passive that's supposed to make his Nova Strike invincible but that didn't work either. I'd bet that Marino's teleport and Axl's roll were supposed to be invincible too because they were both near-useless otherwise.

Human Reploid relations improvement

Marino was the most disappointing character in the beta. Every one of her skills is either too gimmicky to work or some random proc nonsense that never activates.
My favorite one was the slowing shuriken, which needs to hit the ground to have a chance to become a trap to have a chance to slow any enemies that run through it, and won't work at all if it hits the enemy directly. Meanwhile you can get the same effect by upgrading a ZX Saber and smacking someone once with it.

>The game desperately needs feedback for taking damage. Right now, whenever you take a hit, your character does not get knocked backed like in the original games. Along with the knockback, there is no invincibility period from being attack. This leads to situations where a swarm of enemies can stack attacks against you. This becomes a problem in the later stages where the enemy counts increase as well as the amount of damage that they do. You can end up losing a life before you know it. The game has giant red numbers pop up when you're hit, but these are often obscured by the numbers from the damage that you give out as well. This does not solve the issue presented above though. Ultimately, the current player damage system leads to an unenjoyable experience in the later half of the game and it's even more frustrating if you're playing with touch screen controls as that method is not precise.

I bitched about the world 3 poison sprayers and told them that saber-only needs to be a viable playstyle.

I asked for better control mapping (dashing cant be put on the triggers because weapon switching is bound to the triggers and for some reason this cant be changed along with other weird issues)
The ability to turn off the overhead healthbar.
Full stages from the original series.
Ride Armors hidden in stages.
Better English translation.

I'm glad that there was a question on the survey asking if the pvp maps were too broad. Those maps are fucking huge. The 3v3 map gives you two speed buffs at the start and it still takes an eternity to traverse it.

They gave everyone enough free hunter blanks to just craft him. Got him to 1* and Vile to 4*, used Vile more because it felt like cheating to use UAX.

Weapons and armor are mostly what determines your stats. Characters do have certain passives that can increase their stats, like Zero gets an attack buff when he uses sabers and X gets one for using busters.

Where is ciel? How does MMZ relate to X series. Are they going to ever finish Axl's plot after what happened in X8

MMZ is just after all of MMX. Ciel isn't born until way later. If MMX9 is in the works, it would be tough to ignore the Axl cliffhanger.

She'll probably be a later addition. She's an obvious inclusion, they probably just want things for fans to be excited about later.

X9 is basically inevitable and the director of Megaman 11 has been given series reins and stated he considers every branch of the series equally as important and doesn't want to neglect any.

There were bugs a plenty, the netcode was fucking garbage, every hitbox was wonky as hell and didn't match the range the weapons actually displayed and the production value felt very cheap when they have you lose to Mega Scorpion in a cutscene and he just smacks you into a kneeling animation while your HP bar is plainly visible. Also the PVP balancing was fucking broken because they didn't account for UAX's damage output on skills meaning everyone ran him or got two-shotted on sight.
I'd be amazed if it doesn't get pushed back to early 2020 with how rough it is.

They should let you have MMZero's erase saber by default so you can just erase projectiles with a well-timed slash.

The issue is that UAX players in PVP are pussies. So they play keep away until they have their shit ready, burst it at once then run away again. If they don't hit you, yeah they're fucked but a single charge shot will take half your health and the dash takes the other. Combine that with the stated fucking garbage netcode and the wonky hitboxes and it was a pain in the ass.

That wouldn't have stopped those spike wheels from being able to hit you for 1/5 of your HP from half a screen away while your saber has worse range than X7

You can't play keep away from an auto-aiming OHKO. You can see the guy in the webm trying to run away when he respawns and still gets fucked.
Palette is even worse since her paralyzing shot goes through terrain and has such a huge hitbox that you can't possibly dodge it.

I enjoyed the beta. Melee weapons sucked (way too slow) but were fun to use still. Diversity in weapon type is also pretty cool and made the game more fun (although I would have prefered if each character had its own weapon type to keep them from being clones of each other). Poison minions are literally hitler.

Overall I hope they use this engine for X9 and port over the weapons and characters (with heterogeneous character playstyles this time).

It wouldn't help against poison sprayers either because those fuckers never stop attacking in the first place.

The big issue with them is that they have a built-in cooldown for often they can hit an enemy. You can actually do PSX-style dash cancelling, but it won't amount to much more than your basic combo. It's shit since ranged weapons DON'T have this limitation, and you can swap between two sniper weapons to double up on their damage if you want.

It has potential. The controls are far better than you would expect a mobile MMX game to be. Bugs aside, there's a lot of balancing that needs to be done with progression. Even with the obscene amount of resources given to you in the beta, it was still very difficult to upgrade weapons or obtain the materials you want.
The survey they gave out had a lot of questions focused around this, so hopefully they'll change it. If not, this game will be a miserable grind even if you do pay up.

There's supposed to be a manual aiming option for gamepads, but the function can't be remapped and the game doesn't default it to your right analog (or at least it didn't on a DS4).
