It feels unfinished. I'm kind of disappointed, honestly. I didn't expect much from the story, but I didn't expect a bunch of anime tropes barely held together with duct tape. Also, why the fuck is body modification a thing, and yet NPCs are all fully human? Feels like it was originally intended to be more central to the game, and then was just sort of tacked onto the skill system since they already had the models and such made. Same thing for getting out of your Arsenal. I get lock-on, a blade arm, double jump, etc, but for fucking what? It's all pointless.

The demo won me over. Once you get the HUD and buttons remapped, it's pretty fun. It's great to pop in, do a couple missions and then check the gear. I just wish it was a little bit harder.

Just play around with it until you find something you like. I put boost on the left stick. Other people disagree because if you constantly press the boost button instead of holding it you get the speed benefits with minimized stamina depletion, which is perfectly valid

Anyone else ran into any "cutscenes" in free missions? It seems very RNG based, I had gun empress on my side and the chosen RNG opponent was Rose Queen and they had some funny dialogue against each other in the VN format which never happens in Free missions.
I'm wondering what other combos exist.

i am thoroughly enjoying it, especially the level design and skiing around on the ground sniping shit, then jumping out and running all over the place. the feeling of scale is really well done in my opinion, it's very fun
