Watchdogs was just a very notable example where the difference is so stark. I'm not saying graphics are the primary metric by which we should judge games, just that it is absolutely frustrating for everyone that this is still the norm. Death Stranding could very well be a great game despite what we're seeing now, but it will be objectively worse now if console limitations or troubles with optimizing have got us to this point.
