How do you improve upon perfection?

get an xbox controller instead

you buy a different controller

Fpbp
Sony shitter btfo

>baby blue
disgusting

Yea Forums bullshit aside this controller could use
>ventilated grips
>better-shaped tips on the sticks with a more grippy texture/material
>octagonal borders around the sticks
>replace the d-pad with d-buttons so it doesn't feel weird and stiff
>longer battery life
>like way fucking longer what the fuck

Remove share button

it feels a little cheap, the options and share buttons are retarded. just go back to start and select buttons. otherwise it's fine i guess.

this. The one thing that has kept me away from playstation is the controller. I fucking hate it with a fiery passion. Who the fuck thought putting both analog sticks next to each other and splitting the dpad was a good idea and why have they never changed at all

Attached: 1543165312187.png (256x256, 9K)

revert it to dual shock 2 standards, remove battery and remove microphone

Just don't use the share button problem solved on that front; clicking the touchpad in usually functions as the select button. I also like the easy screenshots
But yeah "options" was really stupid hipster change, who the fuck thought that was a good idea? Everyone still calls it "Start" anyway.

The fucking Wii U gamepad is more comfortable to hold and I've got the hands of a little girl.

>start is options
kek and I thought xbox was retard for changing back and start to view and menu

The only thing I hate about the DS4 is that the grip feels fat as fuck, would've preferred it to keep the form of the DS3.

>better materials
>actual see through on the whole controller
>remove huge button for standard start/select buttons
>improve durability
>ability to turn off stupid lights
>improve battery

>that shitty d-pad that that actually hurts while playing fightan
>that huge button in the middle that just exists but is never used
>that share button
>that options button
>dem speakers and rgb lights that do nothing to enhance the game but just make it so the battery drains faster
>that 5 hour battery life per charge
>perfection

The d-pad is one piece, just undeneath the cover you fucking idiot

>mfw all these retards repying to bait

Attached: vmu_lcd_blob.jpg (800x600, 105K)

I don't like having the middle being split up you fucking ugly double nigger. I don't give a shit what's going on underneath it doesn't feel right to me.

it's kinda shame that barely any games uses the touchpad. only one i can think of from top of my head is tearaway

the DS2 was fine

A DS3 with a DS2's L2 R2 would be perfect

the micro usb slot is pretty shitty

By removing the stupid light bar and the touch pad that's used in like 3 games so the battery will last longer.

This

The DS3 was better. The DS2 was perfection. The all time great controllers by generation goes NES->SNES->N64->Dual Shock 1 and after that Sony has ruled the roost when it comes to pads. The GC pad gave the DS2 a run for it's money due to how comfortable it is to hold for long periods of time and the build quality, but the DS has been the primo pad of every generation since PS1. But they definitely peaked with the DS2.

there is a seethrough one i am pretty sure

The dpad is the best thing about the dual shock controller. What you want a big unresponsive block like the 360 pad?

But the Gyroscope sense that Steam and Switch get so much use out of and Sony games NEVER FUCKING USE... that should stay in, right?

Xbox controllers are awful

Make start/select stick out than an eighth of a centimeter from the plastic for starters.
That's about it, really. Maybe a couple of paddles for macros on the back. I'd trade sixaxis for that.

Ds4 sucks dick tho

its only see through on side and its fogged. its not what i really wanted

yea dpad was always great on playstation controllers.

*on one side

Vita dpad

Attached: vitadpad.jpg (530x353, 26K)

>sell optional version with d-pad and left analog switched places like on Xbox
I prefer the xbox joystick layout
>better triggers
>remove motion gimmick
Tearaway is the only game I've played that utilized it well. But in most cases it is an annoying gimmick that you cant disable.
Other than that the rest is acceptable or at least on par with the rest.

Now I remember when this board made a huge fuss over the existence of the share button. damn v is retarded

post more dualshocks

Attached: sony-ps4-dualshock-4-wireless-controller-alpine-green.png (800x800, 304K)

I've been thinking of buying one of those.
My current controllers both have drifting sticks and I need a new one.

>remove motion gimmick
You mean gyro? Are you insane?

Cont.

I know the N64 and PS1 were obviously the same generation, but the original PS1 pad was just shit. Without the rumble and sticks it was literally crippleware for the PlayStation 1.

Remove Share so devs are forced to sctually use the touch pad as something other than a giant select button

Yes the gyro gimmick. I've only had problems with it.
Or at least have the option to disable it.

i don't like rumble. i use sixaxis when possible.

Unfortunately it's greatly underutilised by playstation games, but hopefully next gen they'll finally realize that it's a really good camera control method
>have the option to disable it
Most games do, no?

>N64

The worst piece of shit. Kill yourself.

Well I recently played Journey and it forces it to camera and you cant disable it.
I just thought the game had a shitty automatic camera for half the playthrough until I remembered the gyro mechanic. Couldn't disable it either, so I had to find the position it wouldn't move and play like a statue.
Truly revolutionary gaming experience.

I would like to add that in Tearaway it is utilized great. But in most cases it gets in the way.

Zoomer. The N64 controller was brilliant. Especially at that time. It had an analogue stick to really capitalize on fully 3D games coming out and could be used as a classic controller with a Dpad too. Before the DS1 came out it was the best controller around without exception.

>pressure sensitive buttons
>better d-pad
>best feeling L2+R2
we need to go back

Attached: dualshock2.jpg (747x600, 30K)

>best feeling L2 + R2
what fucking games did you play where they felt good? they felt cheap as fuck and were not ergonomic at all

Infamous: Second Son

Look, the Xbone controller is better. I know you might be a small handed cuck or tranny but the XBONE CONTROLLER is simply better.

I don't like squishy triggers. Buttons are fare more responsive.

Weren't the triggers toggle back then?
Too many modern games need variable triggers.
DS5 will need better triggers, but DS2 triggers is not a solution.

what games? other than racing. even then i think the gran turismo style analog stick controls are more precise.

when do these come in canada?

Attached: file.png (1280x720, 725K)

craft it from a meteorite

why are KHV's so triggered by the idea of someone uploading a funny bug directly to twitter that they'd remove a seamless good tap-to-screenshot function?

The build quality on these is trash.

REMOVE THE FUCKING MANDATORY LIGHT BAR SHIT
5-10 hour battery life for a gimmick that devs dropped on day 1 is fucking unacceptable

Do you really think that rgb led consumes unlimited amounts of power? Pretty sure that people have disabled it and there was basically no difference in the battery life. unless i remember wrong.
