Basically doesn't matter as long as you don't play 3d. I'd go with cave story + on pc or switch tho. Make sure to buy kero blaster too and give our man pixel some money!

After playing through the + version on PC, I'd definitely say the original free game.
A few challenge modes and a hard mode option, mixed with mediocre music remixes, bumped up graphics, and a lame 'official' translation just go to show the game was better off as the free version.
Speaking of the lame TL, anyone know how to fix the + translation? I remember there was a file on the Steam guides somewhere that made it easy, but it was removed a year or so ago.
