I don't play it, but it's definetly a good game. Too bad it's being used to manipulate kids for their parents' money, but that's a tale as old as time.

I love that it doesn't even taste good either. Imagine drinking a slurry of sugary dirt.

It's nice that you get V bucks and can eventually save up enough to buy for a season pass which in turn pays for the next one and gives you a tone of currency left over, but this takes a while and you'll have to play through 2 or more seasons

pretty much the same as your first point. Events are definitely way better than most games

All that comes from the games success based on youtube celebrities and shit, not from the game actually being good. The thing is fun for people (mostly kids) that don't really like videogames but want to hang onto the current thing. This board, against its meme reputation, actually does enjoy vidya.

All of which is more than 90% of modern multiplayer games can say. But no, kids and youtubers like it so therefore it's bad. Hate Epic/Sweeney/Tencent if you've got your reasons, sure, but blindly hating Fortnite itself is the most NPC opinion anyone can possibly have.
On a side note, how's Apex Legends, the Fortnite killer, doing 6 months after launch?
