I mean, if they pull it off they will have successfully merged ARPG KH2 style combat with ATB combat. It should be interesting to see if it's fun or not, if playing actively gives you more access to ATB abilities it could be great.

Did you see the video of it? It doesn't change combat, it just automates it. It looks pretty terrible. Unless you need to play one-handed so you can jerk off to Tifa getting beat up or something stick to what they originally designed for the remake instead.
