Gunplay, especially the sound design, is so much better it's hard to believe it's the same studio.
Enemies are still somewhat spongy but the guns themselves feel great, reload animations are also pretty great.
Love the hyperion guns 'screw' sound when reloading or jakobs guns using speed loader tubes.

The dialogue is as shit as it has always been, it just feels like the writer is trying to hard to be funny so everything is exaggerated.
Which I guess is the "draw" of the game but it really hasn't gotten better.
Main villains are like a wise-cracking male party member except female which I guess isn't so bad, they are hardly the worst part of the game.
All integral plot characters are female, and that isn't even an exaggeration and it is obviously on purpose but that also makes it hamfisted as fuck.

Gameplay is alright and pretty fun, coop is a plus and that is the only reason anyone should have to play this game because putting up with this shit dialogue alone isn't possible.

Gameplay is the best in the series I love the guns and the maps, vehicles and stuff like that.
But story, characters, writing are so terrible that it leaves a bad taste in my mouth and makes me think I'm a retard for playing this game.
They should make an adventure mode, just you and the world, go out to shoot things and that would be enough.

Anyone else having serious rubberbanding issues on ps4 online? Every 10-15 seconds especially during action my character will warp 10 ft in any direction. Sniping is literally impossible. I know everyones upset about the splitscreen lag but havent seen anyone with my problem.

Ok, I've finished it. I did every single zone to 99%(you can't 100% on your 1st run) and it took me something between 60 and 75 hours to complete the main story and all the side stuff.

Cons:
Optimization - I had 0 problems, but people on the Internet have massive problems with it, so that's a major con.
Every character has a "support" skill tree, in which you are forced to play in co-op and it's absolute shit for playing single mode.
Main villains - a couple of punk meme-spouting zoomers, Tyreen feels more like an OC of a teenage girl from tumblr rather than a villain in the AAA franchise.
Writing and humor - 0 artistic freedom, I think the writers just wen to Reddit main page and just copied down whatever had the most upvotes there.
Rhys, Ava, Vaughn and a couple of other characters are absolutely insufferable and shouldn't even be there.
Immunity phase on some bosses - who the fuck thought this was a good idea?
Pop-culture references: the whole game is 1 giant reference, very little originality.

Pros:
Game looks pretty and is a major improvement of everything that was bad in BL2(except for writing and humor).
Plenty of QoL stuff implemented.
Gunplay - the best gunplay I've seen tbqh.
Classes are balanced, there is no definite Salvador in this one, all 4 classes have at least 3 viable builds: boss killer, world ads killer and "support" build( viable in coop only).
Variety of worlds and zones: the game is pretty big, full of unique places and enemies.
Games rewards exploration and not only with chests: you get exp and other shit to customize your character.
Everything related to Jakobs plot line - the best quest line in the series and Wainwright Jakobs is the best character.

I mean right from the start Borderlands had a huge focus on Sirens and their whole deal. And they are exclusively female except the weird bullshit going on with Troy. So yeah it's probably gonna end up with female empowerment when the females are literally empowered in the setting. This is well established in the canon though so I don't have a lot of issues with it. 'Sides, at least none of the male characters got killed in cutscenes this time.

It feels like a lot of the old characters are just here to fill a cameo role. Feels like an MCU situation where Brick and the like are contractually obligated to show up but don't actually need to do anything relevant.

The ending felt like "feminist masturbation" only because you deal with siren stuff who are exclusively female, which was established 10 years ago.

It takes a lot of points to make it useful. Iron Bear is just as big of a meme as Axton's turret only it's even worse because you can't fire and forget. It's also glitchy as fuck and some weapons never reload or it ends as soon as you start it.

all the BL3 heroes are in some way a hybrid of previous ones. Amara's Phasegrasp is almost a 1:1 copy of Maya's Phaselock but it looks cooler. Zane is like a combination of Jack+Wilhelm with a barrier that can actually defend you. FL4K has some Zer0 and Mordecai stuff, Moze is kind of just another soldier.

Moze is fun, basically a second lifeline with her tank. Reaming every enemy on screen or melting the boss by grenade launching to knock them down, punching with an elemental pneumatic fist, and stomping at the same time. Also pressing the jump button after jumping lets the mech dash forward, so spamming it gives you insane omnidirectional movement speed(You can dash real fast outta there backwards). Writing is pretty boring and can be pretty egregious, but you gotta expect it from a game about evil streamers. Gunplay is way better but it depends on your guns how good it feels. I got great guns with Moze, like a shotgun that lobs impact grenades. But my Amara run has garbage guns and it feels like a slog. Stutter in the menu is terrible, I'll wait 5 seconds to switch echo screens and then switch back because it read my input during the transition. Nothing is obvious either, text is too small to care for half the time

Yes they scream. Don't worry you can't miss it since if your character gets a drop of elemental damage on them they do a mix between screaming in agonizing pain and orgasming every single time.

She is fun, you get a lot of skills that improve your ability to just run around quickly and shoot things in the weak points and switch weapons on the fly for solo play, plus if you're grouped up you can invest in your mech and you've got alot of tanking skills too. The mech is super fun, ditch the regular miniguns as soon as you can and try out the explosive ones.
