So boys, I want to buy BL3, but I'm unsure where to get it.
I can get it on PC but my shitty Australian internet means I have to download it at 150 KB/s, or I can get it on PS4 but am limited on how often I can play it, as I share a PS4 with my brother who I live with.
Don't buy it just yet. The game is having a lot of issues with performance and is infested with bugs.
So get it on your PC and by the time it's finished downloading z maybe the game will be fixed :)
Logan Cooper
I've heard bad things about the PC version and it's implementation of Denuvo. Apparently it needs a constant 2mb/s connection to make sure you're not tampering with the game or some bullshit. So if your Internet is as bad as you say, PS4 is probably the best bet.
Aaron Campbell
>my shitty Australian internet means I have to download it at 150 KB/s
Your shitty Australian internet means you're not going to be playing it without problems. It requires a constant non-fluctuating 2 MBit/s upload to Denuvo servers. Thank the new draconic Denuvo DRM implementation for that one.
Xavier Adams
>or I can get it on PS4
Regular or Pro? The framerate tanks to unplayable levels on Regular far too often to be worth it, so I've heard.
Jordan Nelson
I've got it on my PS4 pro and playing in performance mode seems fine, no major stutters, frame rate stays fairly high but clearly not always 60. In resolution mode the frame rate is much worse, but visual quality between the two modes didn't seem that drastic to me. So performance mode seems the way to go, at least in my view. What other performance issues are there meant to be? Load times all seem fine so far.

i hate bl3, i got it for free and played the first hour or so.
guns feel like shit, even low level mobs take forever to kill, game looks like shit, runs like shit, cringe humor is as terrible as ever
Only buy multiplatforms on PC. Never buy from Epic. This should tell you where to go to buy BL3.
Carter Myers
DF vid confirms that the X and Pro versions both run at 1800p...but for some reason a few visual settings are better on Pro. Hence why it runs worse. what the fuck were they thinking man
>Only buy multiplatforms on PC. What did retardo mean by this, take you console faggotry war elsewhere epic is free
Evan Torres
>this constitutes an upgrade i'm in the fucking sticks and i have 150mbps at the very least
Elijah Hall
Apart from stuttering every hour orso I haven't found any bugs. It should've been way better optimalized though.
Sebastian Baker
Do you have a data cap? The game has an extreme form of drm on pc that requires you to upload 2 megabytes of data every second. Although apparently you can block that out.
Henry Wilson
It was meant to be high quality fiber to every home but then the morons in parliament fucked it up. By rights the sabotage of the nbn should have been cause for revolution.
Luke Green
>The game has an extreme form of drm on pc that requires you to upload 2 megabytes of data every second. The fuck? That's ridiculous.
Adam Allen
This also does something weird it seems. It locks you out when the DRM can't do what it wants to do. This basically means a return to desktop wait and back into the game.
Zachary Ward
blue mountains, hombre
Anthony Jackson
Wife bought it for PS4. Waiting on a 2nd controller to be delivered, and were going to play co-op.
If its good I'll get it for PC. From what I have seen watching her play it looks pretty good, shit seems fresher in a good way.
Grayson Richardson
It's trash on all platforms.
Ian Evans
>Buying garbage Fuck off, underaged faggot.
Ryan Jackson
This is why you should just ignore steam drones
Isaac Bennett
>The game has an extreme form of drm on pc that requires you to upload 2 megabytes of data every second. Source?
Jayden Ortiz
Randy says that eventually, there will be crossplay so you can still team up with your wife.
Ryder Scott
Randy would rather your wife finds a bull to play with
Ryan Nguyen
It's one of those games I just fail to understand why they're liked, everything about it screams of shovelware. It's kinda like those shitty jrpgs with cute girls except the artstyle is gross.
Aiden Cruz
Borderlands 3 is the exact same game as BL1 and BL2, it might as well could have been a map DLC for BL2
Nicholas Collins
I play it because I enjoy killing stuff with good gameplay, and I enjoy lootwhoring.
Get it on pc. You didnt have BL3 today, so whats another day waiting for it to download.
James Jones
My older brother wants me to get it and play to with him. But its £42 on PC and I don't feel like it. Maybe at £30. I just bought a keyboard the other day and I'd rather learn and practice scales on that instead.
Jordan Turner
where do you live to have such dogshit internet? do you not have NBN?
Do it. Never know when the last game you get to play with your family is.
t. someone who wants to play a game with his family member that passed away 5 years ago
Gabriel Ward
I thought the pirated version wasn't gonna be out for ages
Blue Mountains nigga, we do not
Ethan Jones
That's an awful sales pitch Randy
Samuel Cooper
>I can get it on PC but my shitty Australian internet means I have to download it at 150 KB/s In the same boat. Downloaded after 20 hours. Luckily they had the pre-load before release date. It's no issue, dude. Online seems to work fine. I'm getting hardware lag but I haven't noticed any TERRIBLE connection lag outside of vehicles.
Samuel Bailey
I’d wait until either it’s no longer exclusively on the Epic store or the Epic store improves.
Colton Jackson
This kinda sounds like bullshit. I get less than 1mb so naturally I just play offline with no issues. I've done matchmaking with a friend in the US and I really didn't have any lag during gunfights, only when I'm going fast on a vehicle.
Liam Lopez
I love BL2 to death, over 2,000 hours, and it doesn't feel like BL1 or BL3 at all. Unless you're some idiot trying to say it's the same TYPE OF GAME.
>t might as well could have been a map DLC for BL2 I hate a lot of changes to BL3 but you're fucking retarded for thinking vehicle/skin/weapon/skill/movement mechanic overhauls in BL3 could be a DLC. Even if you actually mean a map DLC it doesn't work because you could say the same thing about every fucking sequel ever and on top of that the maps in BL3 are designed around the new movement and vehicle mechanics. It'd feel as wide and empty as The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, dipshit.
