Hero isn't as viable as people say he is. Hero either gets fucking destroyed, or fucking destroys whoever he's fighting. His match ups are split 50/50, and the only "even" matchup he has is against himself.

When it comes to projectile smashies, hero and joker shit on all of them. As a well rounded fighter, it would be joker at the top, with pirahna plant only doing good against heavies. Can't say much for banjo yet.

Absolutely this. Plant has superb frame data, but terrible air speed and predictable recovery options will be the bane of it.

I love playing hero because his RNG makes competitive smash players seethe.

Imagine maining shiek in ultimate, only to get obliterated by 5.99 hero who had only played the game for a couple hours.

Pretty much. Plant's main issue is that ptooey is disproportionately powerful compared to what the rest of the character is actually capable. A character with that much emphasis on one whole ability makes them guaranteed to be low tier.

Would you care to explain what you find fun abput joker? I find him to be a slightly better shiek with just an Arsen trump card. I can't play shiek very well online, but shiek is way more fun on local imo due to the precise inputs for starting combos.

Joker's moveset really clicked with me for some reason. I don't like characters like Shiek or Falco, but Joker just felt amazing to play as, I was having so much fun with him that I dropped all my other mains for like two months when he came out.

I get mad maining Sheik regardless of who I play against. Imagine busting your ass off on a combo you spent time perfecting for a bit of damage, only for the opponent to get that same damage plus more in a single stray hit.

I have better results with characters I picked up in only a day than the results since release maining Sheik.

If you character is pic related, you get hit by down tilt from a tech away from grounded down tilt.

If you work on the timing, you should get it everytime, but if the tech away is truly an input problem, them fuck nintendo because ganon is a monster online, we need options to effectively deal with his cheese.

While it normally is slightly better than Flare Blitz, its limited usage is incredibly dumb and makes it so much worse. You are limited on your horizontal recovery for every stock, forcing you to do so Link like recovery of self damage if you don’t have any wings left.
They should make it so you can get more wonder wings per stock by collecting items that randomly appear.

That’s funny since most of his moves are just as fast and even faster than Banjo’s, while also having more range.
