I gotta agree with you, it's a great game and a contender for my personal GOTY for sure, but unlike the remake for the first game, RE2make is not a game I would go "yeah don't play the original, just play the remake instead"

(arguably) Metroid Zero Mission.
It has better controls and more content, but the added hint system makes it much more linear. I'd rather play it than the original any day though.

The only thing I want from a FE4 remake is droppable Crusader weapons and the Crusader scrolls from FE5 to be added in NG+, but they only give Nihil and allow for a unit to wield a crusader weapon.
