I've tried to play this game twice, the first time I went to the island and everything was so wrong I gave up. The second time I replyed because I really like the inventory management in this game and quitted right after I arrived at the castle.

RE5 is good, yes. It just suffered from Zelda syndrome when it came out, where people had to hate it because it was the newest entry.

Wrong. The castle has a fuck ton of memorable areas. It only really gets tedious after Krauser when Mike appears with the helicoptor, and that's at the very end.

I don't know if I can fault classic RE fans for hating it since it is a departure from what they know. But I feel the over the shoulder camera isn't that big of a change. And I will agree they're crazy for not enjoying the sheer fun of the game.
